Two years later. . .

Even after all these years, Taehyun hasn't esperienced the 'switch' so he's pretty convinced that he'll live with his future cats and die alone.

Taehyun graduated top in his class two years ago and now he's studying Economics in Seoul National University (SNU). He still works at the bakery because Seonghwa has been giving him a raise and persuading to not leave since Taehyun attracted a lot of customers. There isn't a day at work where someone wasn't flirting with Taehyun. The thought of it causes him to laugh, as he remembers Beomgyu's reaction every time someone did flirt with him.

It's been three years since Beomgyu left him and has never contacted him. Taehyun's hope in Beomgyu returning to him became slimmer, the only thing keeping Beomgyu alive in his mind was the bracelet he never took off.

Taehyun's phone rings and the caller ID shows 'Kai'.

"Hey!" Taehyun greets.

"Are we all still hanging out tonight?" He asks.

"Yeah, at Yeonjuns."

"Alright. See you!"

"Bye."

The sound of the someone entering the bakery rings in the boy's ears. He's been receiving so many customers but thank God there were part timers just like him, so he doesn't have to be at the bakery every day. He still has piles of assignments to complete.

"Welcome to-" Taehyun's words stop abruptly as he looks up at the entrance to be met with a tall handsome man, wearing black leather pants, Dr Martin boots and an oversize T-shirt that went well with his lanky figure. His jet black hair combed ever so neatly. The look of it was ever too familiar.

The two exchange stares, the tall man's eyes widen, as if it's about to buldge out. Taehyun's mouth left slightly hanging, unable to process the man in front of him.

"Hyunnie." Beomgyu calls out.

"Beomgyu-" Taehyun watches as a woman wraps her hand around Beomgyu's arms. Beomgyu was still looking at Taehyun but Taehyun was looking at the girl who he's now exchanging stares. Chaeryoung smiles faintly at Taehyun and then pulls Beomgyu's arm to catch his attention. When he does, they move to the table at the corner.

"Taehyun-hyung?" Dongpyo, a part timer calls out.

"Oh, Dongpyo, something's wrong?" Taehyun asks.

"I should be asking you that." Dongpo eyes to the couple that just got in.

"Ah, they're friends of mine. We haven't seen in years."

"It didn't look like that." Dongpyo raises an eyebrow.

Taehyun scoffs. "Get back to work."

Dongpyo pouts but does what he's told.

As Taehyun's wiping the sups at the counter, Beomgyu comes over.

"Hyunnie?" Beomgyu calls out.

"You shouldn't be calling me that. Your fiancee's over there." Taehyun says, not looking at the latter.

"Please look at me."

Taehyun ignores the older's request. When he saw Beomgyu walk through those doors, his emotions suddenly jumbled up. He was angry and the heart break came back. Whenever he glances over the latter's table, only to see him smiling at Chaeryoung, it hurt him. But he knew he doesn't have the right to do so. They're soulmates, him and Beomgyu no longer are.

Beomgyu sighs as Taehyun doesn't comply. "It's nice to see you again. How are you?" he asks.

"Fine. You look happy." Taehyun says with a tint of bitterness in his voice.
