It's been a few weeks since my first doctors appointment, after a long home stand the panthers headed out on another roadie just a couple days ago . They will be playing the Detroit redwings on the 13th of February , and today is the 11th , then tomorrow on the 12th is the grand opening of my second ever location of my bakery Sweet Hughes . I can't believe it's finally here.
I've been here in Michigan this whole week getting the bakery ready and helping train the staff with the manager Charlotte . It has been so hard hiding my pregnancy symptoms from my parents . I've been staying with them at their house ever since I arrived earlier this week . Luckily the nausea hasn't been so bad the past two weeks .
I'm currently 10 weeks and five days pregnant, we decided to wait at least until I'm in my second trimester to tell our family and the rest of our friends about the baby , I also want to tell everyone in person. I'm just so excited for this not to be a secret anymore . Matty and I have also started to buy little things for the baby.

We've stuck to buying only gender neutral items until we know the gender . We've taken a blood test to find out the gender but we still have a few weeks until the results come back. Matt and I have started keeping individual lists on our phone and adding names we think of or find and then going over them and adding the ones we like to our combined list .
So far we only have three boy names on our combined list and two girl names . We have a long ways to go before we need an official name so I'm not worried, I'm sure it will be easier for us after we know the gender. But naming someone is a ton of pressure, like they're stuck with it for life. I can't wait to see matty become a dad, I just know he'll be great.
