Chapter 32

At boys dorm:

Subaru gently nudges Takumi awake, guiding him up to their shared dorm room.As they walk in, they see Hikaru, Yukio, Kazuto, and Akira gathered around the dining table, eating and chatting.

Akira, noticing the pair's entrance, raises an eyebrow in curiosity. "What took you two so long.?" he asks, his tone filled with suspicion.

Yukio, always protective, inquires, "Is y/n safely home.?" His gaze is intense, waiting for Subaru's response.

Subaru nods, giving a reassuring answer. "She are safely home," he says, confirming y/n's safe arrival home with a knowing look.

Kazuto, slides his laptop across the table toward Subaru. "Check this out," he says, indicating the CCTV footage he's been analyzing.

The three boys who had already seen the video went silent as it began to play again. While Takumi tried to get a closer look at it.

Subaru presents a valid concern, stating, "All the blame will be on y/n if none of us stand as an alibi for her."

"Of course we will take her side, won't we?" Takumi's tone is filled with determination.

The other boys glance at Subaru, who seems to be holding back his true feelings. His smile is pressed into a thin line as he asks the group, "Who do you think is the masked person? The only thing we could see was the scar on his right hand."

Hikaru immediately offers his opinion, "He must be the serial killer." His tone is confident,his smile bright,as if he's convinced of his own conclusion.

Akira, however, shakes his head in disagreement. "No, he was framing y/n. It can't be the serial killer.That person is no coward. " he argues, trying to piece together the evidence.

" Shouldn't we just find him and kill him" Yukio said as he slammed his fist on the table.

" Talked like the simpleton, you are" The red headed male said in annoyance. Yukio tried to knock out akira but was held down by kazuto. "What do you suggest poison master"

Subaru internally winced at that nickname. He gave akira a look.

" All in due time my friend. It was rather unexpected. But this will not change the course of our plan. In fact it will increase our chances " Subaru said.

Takumi flinched hearing that. "Our plan". It was a plan he was part of. A plan that would make y/n angry. Very angry. But the results was something he dearly wished for. All he could think of was , how y/n would stay with him. That was all he wanted.

Hikaru sent a glance at akira who rolled his eyes and stood up abruptly. He threateningly moved towards Subaru. Akira never really liked subaru's command. Others might not see it. But he knew Subaru knew lot more than he let on.

" Yukio . Did you ask that girl to search for the herbs . Like I instructed.? " Subaru asked yukio who nodded.

Angel. Also known as angelica jonas. Has been y/n's best friend for years now. An expert in apothecary. Something Subaru respected. But all in all her personality was something he disliked. She was rather seductive and used it for her own advantage.

Y/n would never do such a thing. She was bad influence for y/n. But it would be rather difficult to complete their plan if she were to return . So she was sent away again. Only this time when she returns, she will no longer find her dearest friend.

It would be rather symbolical. The drug they use would the one angel collected. Subaru for one liked creating such coincidence. While none of his friends understood why he chose to do this. It is more time consuming. But with your best friend and cousin out of options he has taken out yet another piece.
