Your throat got drier as each second passed. His sea green eyes pouring right in yours. You could feel a weird tingle where he touched you. As if a thunder bolt was about to be unleashed.

There was an unsettling feeling in your stomach. As if one wrong word would be the end of you. You gulped.

"I mean-

" Did I ever tell you how I end up in there dove. In that a- asylum. " His voice gave you a startle. " Dating abuse or what our doctor used to call me serial lover ~ . "

He smiled. It was his annoying million dollar smile. But what unnerved you the most was that he admitted to serial killing.

He then began to laugh hysterically. As if something was funny. As if taking life was nothing but a joke. It was as if he didn't know how precious each life was.

" Dove, are you scared. " He asked his voice smooth as butter. His arms snaked around your waist as he pulled you in. " Don't be scared I won't hurt you. After all you are the only person who makes me smile for real. "

You didn't make a sound as you let his words sink into your memory. His hands burning hot around your waist. But you stayed quiet.

" What made you like this. Who made you like this.? " You questioned the jubilant boy.

Whose smile did not waver by your questions , you could sense he was enjoying your expression and distress.

" My dad. But what really started it was death of my mom. " He said, his smile cracked slightly as the word mother left his lips. " He didn't hit me Or anything. He just fooled around a lot. With women who resembled mom. In the end he became addicted to that habit. "

You took in a deep breath , he chuckled at your reaction stroking your hair gently. His hands stained red with blood of countless women.

" I don't care if you are lying. As long as you are with me I am happy. " He sighed, his breath reaching the shell of your ear.

He pulled you up with him. Effortlessly carrying you in his arms. You tried to walk but your legs refused to obey you.

Your eyes were shut tight not because you were afraid but because you couldn't stand to be near a man like that. Yet you didn't prode him. A single word from you might send him spiraling down. You couldn't afford to do that.

After all you wanted the colors back in your life. You wanted to be sane.

You weren't afraid of him in the way he thought you would be. You were afraid of his capability. You were afraid of what he hid behind that grin. The horrors he confessed to you.

You were afraid of the man he became not of the child he once used to be.

Your lips were shut tight. Your gaze is hollow and nails digging in your palms. A small ember was alive in you.

You couldn't let it die. One small step at a time. You promised.

You were finally back in your room. It was very excruciating to say it was yours. But one week after being in this hellhole. You knew a single thing. This was as safe as it can get.

Better than that nursing room Or torture chamber. Atleast you could stay at peace here.

A loud bong interrupted your thoughts as the door beeped open. Someone pushed it with furry. Making the room vibrate from its impact.

You flinched instinctively at the sound. Before you could react, Yukio had crossed the room in long, furious strides, collapsing to his knees right before you.
