Hoping it would be Alec came to pick him up he went out and saw Raphael standing at the stairs.

"Raph??" Magnus wasn't expecting him to be here at this time, and he didn't want to engage in any kind of conversation with him now because he was going on a date with the king.

Raphael looked at Magnus as if he is looking at him for the first time? Raphael was so confused like why Magnus is so well dressed and put on a glitter on his face? He never saw Magnus polished like this. Magnus was under the veil most of the time in Alicante or under the cloak when he is out but he was always only wearing his skin under his clothes nothing else simple, natural and here Magnus turned into, fancy fairy when he never imagine Magnus could look this stunning or even want to look in certain way.

"What are you doing? These clothes? I never saw you wearing these kind of clothes and glitter Magnus?....you wore cloak? Are you going somewhere?" It was always so amazing how quickly protective he become around Magnus. Any other time Magnus would adore it but right now he wants Raphael gone before the king comes.

"No....yes....i mean....i wasn't....ummm...I am not feeling well so I thought I explore this forest a little I wore the amulet see (he slid his hand under the cloak and pulled out amulet to show Raphael that he is going out with the precautions, that particular amulet help him to manipulate his scent) and...the clothes...I...just wanted to you know experiment something.. you know me when I am not painting, I design clothes....you understood right?" Magnus struggled a lot he felt so hot sweat drops forming on his neck even he is in his thin dress and thin cloak in the dusk time. because he is not used lying to anyone. but he couldn't tell Raphael about his date he would definitely try to change magnus's mind.

"Are you alright?....you want to me take some medicines from Ruelle?" Raphael got worried now his whole focused moved towards magnus's health, magnus left a victory sigh and shook his head " no no...she already gave me potion for it I was just....try to get some fresh air....."

"Alright...let's go I will take you out...I am just came from the palace...his majesty already left for his meeting with some prince so, me and Thane decided to go to that lounge near the court...if you wish you can join us" Raphael offered him but Magnus couldn't join him right this moment can he?.

The king left the palace to meet some prince? Meaning he can be here anytime soon Magnus thanked Raziel as Alec didn't mentioned Raphael about their date "No mo....mm...you know I don't drink....(had a nervous laugh) you go enjoy your evening....i think I will just stay in...." Magnus unknotted his cloak pretending he really meant what he said.

"Oh...alright that's good...it would be nice if you don't wander around at this time..and especially when you are dressed this beautiful..." Raphael step down the short stair with stern face.

"Don't... don't be so conservative raph...now go leave me alone" Magnus said with unapproved look crossing his hands over his chest.

Raphael chuckled lovingly "rest well...and if you need something you can always send talon( his bird messenger) to me" then left.

"Raziel!!!... thank you so much" Magnus quickly re knotted his cloak and went inside to see himself in the mirror one more time. He saw some mulberries on his kitchen table and looked at his lips in the mirror according to him his lips looked so dull. He took a mulberry and rubbed it on his lips and it brought a wonderful pink stain on his already pink lips. After few more rubs, he lick off residues of mulberry remained on his lips.

He was restless as the time is passing he is nervous and overthinking, what if the king doesn't like him anymore ? Or maybe his perception will change after knowing about magnus's mysterious background? what if he will not be able to open up to king and cost his feelings? Magnus sat on the bed tapping his feet on the floor.
