Chapter 6

"Raphael?" The king whispered in shock.

"Your majesty" Raphael's got wet immediately.

The king didn't wait and pulled Raphael and hugged him tight. Raphael couldn't held back, he hugged him back, Magnus didn't know what was happening, how can his best friend know this stranger? He was confused.

"Dear angel, you are alive,.......you are alive" the king repeated the same words again and again until they sound true, and tightened his hold on Raphael until he felt his long lost friend is her, breathing.

"Your majesty" Raphael responded in whispers m. Now there were tears in his eyes. After years of isolation he finally gets to hold his friend his king his only well-wisher who loves him in his thin and thick moments.

The king pulled back "how are you?.., where were you? All these years?... searched for you for almost 3 years but.....but never hear from you neither anyone knew where you were? We thought..... we thought we lost you, Rapha" the kind was happy and overwhelmed to see him alive couldn't let's go of Raphael he held his shoulders.

"Forgive me your majesty for not reaching out to you, I was not in a better place and didn't have anyone with me to let you know I am alive and where I am" Raphael wiped his tears away with back of his hands and looked and Alec with a sorry look.

"Isa will be so happy to see you rapha, angel!.... Mother was so miserable when you didn't comeback with us to Idris" the king finally wiped his tears smiling.

"Why wouldn't she be? There was no one for her to scold" Raphael laughed remembering his and queen's bickering in the past, as being a queen she always looked to the over every companion of Alec her own kid. And same for her whole kingdom, no wonder the country love this family so much, they rule with honesty, dignity and love.

The king laughed and his smile diminished quick when he thought about his sister, he still remembers the day when Jace, Simon and himself came back to Idris after the war without Raphael with them, she was devastated. It took a year for her to get over his loss, princess have deep romantic feelings for Raphael since they were 13, where Raphael born without any title he always maintained distance with her, he feel deeply for her too though. But he believes if they are meant to be they will end up together. It always pained isabell how Raphael always call her by her title not by her name, she always wanted him to feel the palace like a family and he felt it lived in it like one of them but when it comes to princess he was always 10feet away.

Raphael was a brave, courageous and insightful soldier. Cezar trained him personally he taught him fighting skills no worrier would ever able to grasp except the king. Cezar was pretty shaken after they lost him in the war, he searched for Raphael everywhere at the Rise(the border between blood forest and Idris) in Alicante, in all possible areas but he failed to find him it was like he disappeared d just like the moon behind the heavy clouds.

"How is.....how is the process doing? Your majesty" he asked hesitating, looking down at his feet as if he was afraid of king's answer of his reaction. Alec smiled and answered "she is doing good, that lady aced in all the agricultural curriculum last year, she went to India to study science of soils, where princess Noor Jahan was her teacher,........she...she misses you rapha" hearing this Raphael felt relieved because, one. Princess is not living in misery and two. She still has her heart for Raphael. But he couldn't show his happiness right now so instead he smiled and nodded.

"Now back to the serious talk, where were you all these years? It's been 2 years rapha." Magnus was amazed how the king came conveniently forget about their little moment few minutes before, how there was a need and want in those ocean blue eyes, he felt quite disappointed but also relived that Raphael didn't caught them kissing only Raziel know what would have happened if he watch them.
