"Your majesty...! Forgive me but...I shouldn't invest more funds into armoury upgrade, we already have enough equipments for the defence and attack...border security is intact confirmed by our envoy...I don't understand why are we investing more into it" on of the minister spoke.
"Our security policies are much more stronger than any other kingdom..your majesty...I suggest you give it more thought" he continued.

King received letter from Tessa from Alicante with all the requested data and what he noticed is whatever replacement done three years back were not unapproved, and all the entries made on the borders of Alicante was from the north side gate meaning, foot soldiers, court maids, servants royal cooks, even gardener's were replaced by the people coming from north.

North has only two residential lands one is Prantha and another one is calmaria. If he considers the cravens attack on valentina on the same time line, according to King valentine one of his cabinet minister found dead with the high dose of poisonous drug which can only come from only one land 'calmaria'.

The ruler of calmaria has always been isolated along with the land, yes trades, and business were done with the kingdom but the king of calmaria never mingled with other emperors. It has always been a mystery to Alec, whenever he wishes to visit calmaria his requests immediately rejected.

Prantha had some access to the land, Alec visited Prantha couple of times, but king onyx never uttered a word about calmaria. Since childhood Alec was told it was a land of nightmares and darkness. His father King Robert visited calmaria multiple times with his army and envoys but he never talks about it.

Anyway, the king was confirmed, Tessa send Magnus to Idris because of those non legitimised staff alterations but why? What is the relation between calmaria and Magnus?. And why his family protecting this boy with their lives all these years.

It's been a month and more but nothing suspicious happened in Idris although there were borders lefts open for 4 days when he sealed the deal of 5 acres land with lord davenport. There were no movements at the rise, blood forest looked strangely calm.

This calmness disturbed Thane being a former supreme commander Thane became king Robert's personal guard happily when Alexander taken over the throne so he requested the king to upgrade the armoury with latest technological weapons, Alec trusted his staff, his ministry After understanding everything happened in last 3years he felt need to do so, like valentina something might happen in Idris as Magnus and Raphael both are here. Either Raphael or Magnus can be harmed.

"Yes, I gave it a lot of thoughts Mr. minister, (he glanced at Raphael and Thane who were standing beside him) we need to upgrade our defence system or maybe it will be too late" he muttered last

"Do you think Alec suspects anything?" Tessa asked her husband. "Of course..is that a question Tessa?...he has always been so clever... I am confident Raphael never tell  anything to him but he himself is studying all these events, writing to you inquiring about past three years...at least Raphael could have told him why was he disappeared and was in Alicante without contacting him..." Will put his tea cup on the table.

"I told you this before...we should tell him everything...he is the king for god's sake the ruler he deserves to know everything...I just hope de doesn't think like his own family is not being honest him" Jem sighed sadly.

"You know Alec Jem, he is so fierce and always speak against injustice. And Magnus? That kid is a....he has been through a lot...he doesn't deserves king's wrath too...I will write to Ruelle asking her to tell Alec everything..." Will picked up his pen and paper.
