Chapter 17

After their date at waterfall they met couple of time but due to a people disturbance didn't get to spend more time with each other, when the king asked Magnus to wait at the fairy court's back garden so he will pick him up from there but to his bad luck when Alec came at the back gate Aziz saw him, ran to him and hugged him which bothered Magnus a lot. He couldn't recognise this feeling but Magnus didn't know Alec visits to the court were pure pleasure business and usually he choose only two people Aziz and roman.

Magnus couldn't ask the king why Aziz was so friendlier with him and..well they seemed pretty close and the way Alec treated Aziz so friendly and gently It made Magnus furious. Due to this Magnus himself denied meeting the king after and which bothered our king, he couldn't figure Magnus's behaviour. The king started to visit the court often Ruelle asked him out of curiosity about his frequent visits. He only smiled and divert the conversation. Whenever he try to look for Magnus boys cling on to him, Aziz and roman both were pretty upset because since a month the king didn't meet them and didn't spend his night with them either. But, Alec sweetly assured them that he is just busy with his duties and didn't have mood and time to spend his night seeking, experiencing pleasure.

The great pleasure he gets only when he touches Magnus and look into his eyes, drink him in, when Magnus slid his fingers into the king's dense hair while kissing him give Alec immense pleasure. But it's been weeks since he last saw Magnus he visited his cottage twice only to greeted by church and chairman. Alec would visit his cottage take the scent in, sit on magnus's bed for sometime and leave in disappointment.

Magnus was not mad at the king or the other fellow fairies but at himself. Even if both of them knew each other better now, at least better than before Magnus shouldn't expect Alec to choose only him over anything and anyone. But his 20 years old heart stubbornly demands king's attentions only to him. Magnus thought maybe if he didn't meet the king it wouldn't hurt him much watching him making physical contacts with other fairies.

Magnus would spend most of his time in his studio or in the synagogues near the court in praying. He made confession to Raziel, he is falling for a non-fairy, the mighty king of his holy land. He grew up reading stories of Emrin and Winifred how great their love was and how the devotion, passion and dedication towards each other blessed them with a baby and many natural gifts.

Since he was mature enough he always wished to have a life like Emrin and Winifred even though he knew he can never have that but he still believed in love, Magnus believed in nothing but in love his strong belief and will power kept him alive. He watched remembered how his parents were so in love with each other and would go to any extend to make other one happy. Sometimes it is suffocating for him his own beliefs bring tears in his eyes everytime his vulnerable soul hoped and longed for love. He is close to meet his fate very close. No matter how holy court in Alicante try everything in their power to undo it, it is inevitable yes, Magnus knew it and accepted his fate but never believed in it. And like his friend lady Tessa taught him "once you believe in something it will become your destiny which can overpower your fate...fate can be a myth Magnus, but destiny is where your soul reaches and liberates". Even if he never experienced this feeling before but since he was mature enough to understand love his faith in it developed.

People says when a picture come to your mind means Raziel sent it to you for a reason. 13 years old Magnus sit in despair near the the window and used look at the moon, stars and wish upon them every night imagining his only one person, he would draw the face in the air and would smile wide looking at it.

When first time he saw the king near the pond he felt as if he saw a face of his dream he felt instantly connected to this man as if Raziel was telling him no matter what his fate is, this face, this blue eyed man is going to be his destiny.
