"So you didn't tell them the whole truth?" Magnus asked Raphael.

"No, how could i? even lord herondale and lord carstair want me to tell his majesty everything, Ruelle will behead me" Magnus chuckled, "that women is a nightmare" he loved Ruelle since the moment he met her, she cared for Magnus like nobody ever did.

As usual Magnus was hooded even he was wearing gloves. Raphael and Magnus were walking the garden behind fairy court in the morning. Raphael felt relieved after yesterday he felt like a huge rock moved away from his heart. He felt guilty for last 3 years for doing this to his king more like to a friend.

Thinking about the king a thought strikes his mind. "Magnus, what was his majesty was doing in the studio yesterday?" Magnus stopped abruptly "I..um...I told you he saw petal and followed him inside" Raphael knew Magnus was hiding something. After all Raphael now knew each every nerve in magnus's body.

"Yes you told me, but there is more isn't it?..." Raphael came face to face with Raphael. thanking the god magnus's face was covered so his restless expression weren't seen by Raphael.

"No, I told you he just followed petal nothing else, we...we didn't do anything raph" Magnus blabbered and spilled something which caused Raphael counter him back. "I never said you did something...tell me Magnus... you are not a good lier you know that and with me??? Not possible so now tell me what is it you are not telling me".

Magnus sighed in defeat "Raziel,....alright! But you need to promise me you will never tell this to anyone especially not to Ruelle" Magnus's hesitation made Raphael more restless. First, Magnus is not a kind of person who has a single secrete his life always has been witnessed by people around him, even tiniest details of him know by everyone and second, Raphael doesn't like to keep a secret not from his king not from Ruelle.

"I spend last three years in guilt of keeping secret from my king.. and now you are telling me to do it again?... no not happening" Raphael furiously denied magnus's request.

"Try to understand raph.. it's...it's kind of private" Magnus whispered, made Raphael laugh on this because his dear friend have private things was surprise for him.

"Alright..I changed my mind..I am not telling you anything... continue laughing" Magnus got angry at his friend and started to walk inside the court.

"Forgive me...forgive me dear......it was just a surprise for me, you never had anything private and your safety is more important to me so I need to know" now he was serious.

"Anything about the King isn't a threat to my safety" Magnus now yelling he realised how loud he was talking then he lowered his voice.

"It is.. Magnus.. anything about anyone connected to you can be a threat to you..now tell me how private it is...I promise you I won't share this information with anyone not even I show his majesty that I know it"

Magnus took a moment breathed in ,breath out and told him "he....the king...he kissed me..I mean I...me....we kissed each other" this hit Raphael like a truck. He couldn't speak anything he was furious at his friend how could he let it happen, he couldn't be angry at Alec because he doesn't know magnus's reality but Magnus? How reckless he can be?.

He held his forehead with both of his hands. "Raph.. say something" Magnus was scared, afraid and for a moment he thought shouldn't have let it happen but then again he remembered how good it felt and he has zero regrets.

"What do you want me say?...do you have any idea what you did Magnus? Are you aware of the severity of the situation?... you just jeopardised your, ruelle's life?" Raphael couldn't stop himself.

Magnus's eyes started to get wet, indeed he jeopardised ruelle's life along with his, but he didn't do it purposefully nor did Alec, he was sure about it, Alec's touch, his warmth, his warm breath felt like Magnus took a birth again, it felt right. And Magnus was matured enough to know the difference between right and wrong.
