"Killian?.....that beast?....he is not a human Ruelle he is a monster" Robert was disgusted by the name and the fact that this boy, a dew drop-like boy would marry someone like Killian made Robert's blood boil. Ruelle smiled sadly, she took her time and continued talking "It's a very long complicated story, your Highness...." She said to Robert who sighed he felt defeated as he came to know how his son, the rolling king of his kingdom, was in so much love with that boy and he could not do anything about it Robert looked at Alec who tightened his grip on Magnus protectively after hearing what Ruelle was saying his gaze on Ruelle was unreadable he couldn't speak, couldn't move.

"I....Let us settle down.....(Raphael spoke in between as he knew what was coming next and he could guess what Alec would do after listening to the whole story) Harriet!!!...brink tea from all of us and invite her highness to the court with Prince Johnathan and Princess Isabell..." he urged Alec to settle on his throne, he practically dragged him towards it with his hold on Magnus, Magnus was terrified as he assumed Alec will push him away, never see him and probably be disgusted by him but what he was seeing happening is completely opposite Magnus feeling more pull towards Alec than before and the way Alec holding glued to his body made Magnus relieved somehow. Alec made Magnus sit on his lap on his royal throne, he quickly glanced at former king Robert who was watching him with pitiful eyes, none objected when Alec sat on his throne with Magnus on his lap.

"Thank you, Raphael, Her Highness and all must be here because this matter went further than I thought it would...and I hoped you would tell me something about all this but you didn't, I trusted you Raphael" Ruelle had a scolding tone now Raphael couldn't say anything in return somehow he always knew this situation will come and his king would know every story hide behind Magnus's covered cloak he was prepared for it though, he felt ready now. "I saw him how happy he was...I couldn't, couldn't stop him" Raphael said with a sad face, Ruelle's face softened because somehow she was happy inside too that Magnus found someone to love him as he was but she didn't voice out her feelings because she felt the need to tell Alec why they can't be together and how Killian have held on Magnus more like ownership but she was scared looking at Alec as he became non-vocal and staring into a void holding Magnus on his lap.

Magnus was restless, he didn't feel right sitting on the King's lap on his throne only the king's better half could have that privilege and Magnus was certainly not that one, "I...your majesty...I should get up and find myself a sit" Magnus whispered but shut his mount instantly when he saw Alec staring at him with watery eyes and furious face. Alec pulled Magnus close to his body their faces were an inch apart "Don't you dare" Alec practically growled Magnus flinched and nodded looking into his king's eyes. Harriet placed the tea tray on the table and left, after some time Mayres, Jace, and Isabell appeared in the court in utter confusion.

"So he is the one who stole my big brother's heart?..... Johnathan! His majesty's younger brother..you can call me Jace...the way my brother glued you to his body seems the matter is pretty serious....." Jace extended his hand in his usual sass, when Magnus didn't return the gesture Isabell nudged her elbow and asked Jace to keep quiet. Magnus didn't mean to be rude so he bowed in front of Jace.

"It's a pleasure Your Highness" Magnus greeted Jace he couldn't shake his offered hand, could he? He did the same with the queen and princess. King's mother was over the moon after meeting her son's partner whom he had been hiding for months. Mayor went straight to hug Magnus but Alec stopped her she was taken aback a little but after she sensed something was off, Robert took her to the corner and told her everything happened.

Once everyone settled Ruelle began to tell a story a story about a boy and his cruel fate.
