September slowly made it's way closer to the beginning of October, the weather starting to get more dreary and cold, the sun setting earlier in the day, and the feeling of Autumn approaching becoming more and more real.
As Gabby's daughter slowly approached her second birthday, she was also getting closer and closer to starting Primary school. she knew this time next year Connie was going to be in school uniform, she couldn't even wrap her head around that.
She sighed as she remembered that in two short weeks, Lola would probably begin to have to adapt to school life, and she'd have no other choice but to leave her daughter in the care of someone else.
It wasn't the best thing that a parent could ever experience, knowing that their child was going to have to go away into a new environment, with others, being without their protection.
Gabby shook her head and took a deep breath, watching as Connie played in the front garden of number 23 with Roxy Mitchell's daughter, *We found love by Rihanna* blasting throughout the house from Fatboy's laptop.
"Fatboy what are you doing?" Gabby sighs, looking into the living room. "I know it's your gig tonight but it's giving me and Rox a headache!"
He was sitting on the sofa that was in the living room, his laptop on the coffee table in front of him as he worked on some beats on it. He looked over to her once he heard her speak, his expression filled with a playful grin as he responded back.
"Relax, I'm just working on some stuff...I'll make sure it's turned down a bit" he says with a chuckle, taking a quick glance over to Connie and Roxy's daughter as they played together outside.
"yeah, keep it down please!" Roxy called out angrily, still watching Amy and Connie play outside.
"Alright...calm down, I will" he says with a laugh, rolling his eyes as he quickly turned down the volume of the music he was listening to.
"Man, she really takes things a little too seriously sometimes...she's acting like it was full blast" he says with a chuckle, still watching the two girls play together outside.
"It was, Fats..." Gabby smirks, placing a hand on his shoulder. "can hear it from the B&B" she jokingly says, she pats his leg before getting up and walking over to Connie. "Come on, you! Let's get you to nursery!" she says with a smile.
"Okay, fair enough...yeah, it was pretty loud" he admits, nodding his head as she pats his leg.
He then watched her as she got up and walked over to Connie, calling her over to get her ready to go to Nursery. He let out a chuckle as he saw the two of them leave the living room, hoping that Roxy wouldn't give him too much grief for the noise.

Gabby had finally finished doing someone's hair in her mums salon, she looked at it proudly with a grin and turned to face her mum who also smiled proudly. "That'll be £190 please" she says with a soft smile.
She stood there looking at the finished result of her client's hair with a huge grin on her face, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment for being able to create something that looked so good.
Her mum had been the one to teach her everything she knows about hairdressing...so she was always grateful for all the advice she had given her throughout her own life.
"Okay, I'll pay now" the client says back to her, handing over her card and getting ready to pay for her hair.
"If you'd come to the front...?" Gabby says as she takes her customer to the till. "Seeing as it's your 6th time here, we're gonna give you 10% off" she smiles, grabbing the card reader and spinning it to face her.
