Blood feud

"Lia! " Hermione exclaimed excitedly as she rushed forward to hug her friend "Mia! " Dahlia said just as excitedly as she hugged her friend "what am I, chopped Blubberworms? " Daphne asked sarcastically as she stood off to the side "Of course not daph" Hermione said, hugging the blonde "you must be Astoria, I've heard so much about you" Dahlia said warmly  "hi" Astoria waved shyly

"You were so adorable" Dahlia cooed, causing Astoria to blush

"This is my mom and dad" Hermione introduced  "it's lovely to meet you Mr. And Mrs. Granger" The twins, Ron and Daphne said in greeting "It's nice to meet our daughter's friends as well " Mrs. Granger said, smiling at her once lonely daughter surrounded by friends "Lord and Lady Greengrass, it's an honor to make your acquaintance" Dahlia and Harry said respectfully "it's lovely to meet you dears, our Daphne has been talking none stop about all of you" Lady Greengrass said, causing Daphne to blush

"Aunt em and uncle dan looked so confused by the greeting" Harry commented "they were, I explained to them the nobles in our world after the trip" Hermione said, smiling sadly at her parents, Dahlia looked over, giving her a comforting smile, they will find her parents

{Scene change to outside of gringotts}

Arthur and Molly stood stunted on the steps of the bank, neither knew exactly how to deal with the fact that minutes before there was barely any money in their vaults, only enough to barely manage, now their vault was at least triple the size, and from what the goblin said, they were richer than the malfoys

Abraxas and Lucius's jaws dropped followed closely by the Weasley-prewitt group "wha- how-" Arthur trailer off, unsure how it happened before turning towards his future adopted children "what happened? " he asked, knowing she had something to do with it. "Do either of you remember why there was a blood feud between the two of you? " Dahlia asked curiously, Draco, Ron and the twins perked up as well, Dahlia never told them how the money appeared in their accounts and none of them knew why there had been a feud between their families.  Both Lords blanked "it had something to do with a marriage contract" Arthur offered Weakly, neither of them truly remembered why it happened "Castillo Malfoy was engaged to Lucille Weasley, he cheated on her the night before their marriage. That wasn't as bad as him stealing the Weasley family ring, that was the cause of the blood feud, however what no one but he knew and my mother when she later researched it, trying to help her friend. Castillo used the stolen ring to steal over half of the Weasley fortune , while also signing a contract that sent money from the Weasley vaults to the Malfoy vault every year. " Dahlia explained, to the horrified hall, every pure blood felt horrified and revolted

"How did I figure this out" Lily asked curiously, "Your great grandfather was the squib son of Castillo, from what you've wrote in the journal, Great grandfather, had kept records of the family" Dahlia answered, lily gasped in shock, as did most of the ball, Arthur slumped in his seat, trying desperately to wrap his head around the information, Abraxas looked towards the red head in shock, he could see faint traces of his great grandfather's younger brother in her features.
