Dahlia sighed as she entered Hogwarts, she swore retribution against her brothers for pulling her along with their insane plan , Hermes hissed at the boys behind his mistress, they had put her and themselves in danger. " So a house-elf shows up in our living room, we can't get through the barrier to Platform 9¾, we almost get killed by a tree... clearly someone doesn't want me here this year." harry listed as they left their trunks with the others and made their way upstairs, he looked towards his sister warily, he knew it had been a stupid idea, but it had been the only idea him and Ron thought of, he really should have asked for her opinion before shoving her into the car. Dahlia sighed as she looked up, running her hand through Mrs. Morris's fur before turning towards filch "Hi Mr. Filch, can I at least explain my part on the way to a teacher? " Dahlia asked, no way in Merlin was she going to take the fall with them
Harry looked sheepishly at his sister "sorry? " he offered, Dahlia huffed while sending a mock glare his way, Molly turned to her husband, after the terror that plagued her moments ago subsided, she realized, just who was responsible for the car even being there "Arthur, I swear if you make that blasted car again, I'm confining you to the couch " Molly promised "yes dear, I didn't plan to make it again anyway, it almost killed our son" Arthur said, Molly nodded as she saw the glint in her husband's eye, she had no problem with him tinkering she just didn't want nothing dangerous around the kids "did you get in trouble? " James asked, being the first of the three parents to get their breathing under control "I got detention with Uncle sev, mainly because They couldn't fully allow me to go Scott free, the other two had 4 detentions, Harry's with Lockhart and Ron with filch" Dahlia explained.
{Scene change to after dinner}
Dahlia rushed to the front of the group "Wait a moment, I have a surprise" Dahlia said excitedly "What is it my lady?" Cassius asked curiously "you'll see" Dahlia said mysteriously as she led the way to the entrance and placed her palm against the wall, her eyes glowed green and silver before with a flash it ended and the entrance opened "welcome to the new and improved, and definitely warmer common room" Dahlia said with her arms spread out as she turned towards the stunted snakes
The present slytherin's jaws dropped like their on screen companions as they looked at the new common room, it was definitely an improvement from what they had
"H-how? " Draco asked in awe, it didn't even feel like they were in the dungeons anymore, it was warm, not enough to make anyone feel hot but just right, so no one froze down here any more "simple, as lady slytherin I requested an update to the common room and viola" Dahlia shrugged as she walked over to a couch and relaxed in to the comfy seat, Merlin this was better then those ridged couches they had before.
The slytherin's stared longingly at the common room, "don't worry I'll change it before I leave" Dahlia reassured them, laughing at the near in sync of relief that passed through all of slytherin house.
