Meeting the Professor

Dahlia and Harry looked at each other nervously as there was a knock at the door "Boy go get it" vernon ordered from his seat, Harry made it to the door and opened it, only to come face to face with a giant man with a lot of hair.

"hagrid!" The marauders and the future gen shouted in glee, surprising some of the purebloods, hagrid's face grew red with a blush

"Hiya harry" Hagrid said as he entered the house dahlia came into the hall freezing for only a moment before a giant smile spread across her face, her twin soon copied her as he saw her memory and both hugged the giant "Hagrid!" They both exclaimed happy to see the loveable giant "Girl Boy! What's taking so long who's at the door" Vernon yelled, hagrid stood up straight entering the room "Rubeus Hagrid keeper of keys and games at Hogwarts, I'm here to escort them to diagon alley " hagrid said not liking the muggles at all . Vernon's face turned a purple color causing dahlia to unconsciously hide behind her twin and hagrid, hagrid taking a note of this "They will not be going, We swore when we took them in we'd put a stop to this rubbish" vernon spat making the twins flinch.

"You knew you knew all along and you didn't tell us" harry accused "Of course we knew. How could you not be? My perfect sister being who she was. My mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter. "We have a witch in the family. Isn't it wonderful?" I was the only one to see her for what she was... a freak! And then she met that Potter and that Black. And then she had you two, and I knew you would be the same. Just as strange, just as... abnormal. And then if you please, she went and got herself blown up, and we got landed with you both." Petunia said with a sneer , dahlia eyes blazed with fury "Blown up ! You told us our mother was a Worthless whore! Our father's good for nothing drunks! That they died in a car crash to get rid of us!" Dahlia shouted tears streaming down her face

Those closest to the parents were outraged, lily was crying she knew the relationship between her and her sister was rough but she didn't know this was how she felt "We would never Leave you or get rid of you" regulus choked out looking at his children both held unshed tears, they waisted no time in jumping into their father's arms being held by all three of their parents, many smiled sadly at the little family's moment, others turned away giving them privacy

Hagrid's face went from shock to outrage "BLOWN UP! It's an outrage It's a scandal, How dare you insult lily, regulus and james like that! You muggles don't deserve to even say their names!" Hagrid yelled drawing his umbrella as the two turned deathly pale "let's go hagrid, I wanna see diagon " dahlia said "alright lia, oh and McGonagall said as long as your snakes don't bite anyone they'll be allowed to come" hagrid said with a small smile as they left the house , dahlia cheered happy to bring along hermes.

"Thank you hagrid" james said sending a grateful smile

The twins entered the leaky cauldron with hagrid "the usual hagrid?" Tom asked looking up "not this time tom, I'm on official Hogwarts business, showing harry and Dahlia here diagon alley" hagrid said, tom turned to the twins and by pure luck their scars were seen "bless my soul it's the potter twins..." Tom breathed in awe silencing the entire pub

"Stupid Potter luck" dahlia groaned "I don't know why your complaining you have normal luck" harry said "that may be but I'm always with you,you have enough potter luck for us and our friends" dahlia retored getting nods from the others, both Fleamont and James winced knowing what they meant "of dear merlin it's another James" sirius groaned, many including lily were curious "what's the potter luck?" She asked wanting to know why her children saw it as a bad thing "the potter luck is both a blessing and a curse, it can get us into life and death situations as well as maximizing our chances of survival in said situations, or like now how it made our scars visible when we didn't want them to, it's something only those with potter blood have along with the atrocious eyesight and the gravity defying hair" dahlia explained "unless you happen to be dahlia who took after more of papa and mom then dad, only getting the eye sight and one eye color" harry added in with a fake glare

Immediately everyone came forward shaking the twins hands and greeting them, dahlia looked indifferent while harry looked uncomfortable, harry sensing his sister's rising panic and discomfort moved them both through the crowd

Dahlia smiles at her brother, "you don't like large crowds fawn?" Peter asked "Hate them, especially after 4th year " dahlia said

"See dahlia, Harry your famous" hagrid exclaimed "but why are we famous hagrid?" Dahlia asked looking up at the giant curiosity shining in her eyes "Not sure I'm the best person to answer that" hagrid muttered as another wizard stepped in front of them "ah this is Professor Quirel defense against the dark arts teacher " hagrid introduced, dahlia took one look and immediately pulled her brother back alittle hiding behind him, harry seeing and knowing his sister behavior moved till she was completely out of sight not offering the professor a hand shake nor smile just simple indifference.

"Harry that was rude" lily scolded "lily he probably had a reason let's hear it before scolding them" regulus reasoned "He's a bad person, Dahlia as long as I can remember has had a good judge of character, she just knew who it was best to avoid and who was ok, that saved us from two kidnappings and one child rapist a few years before we were eleven, if dahlia says they are bad then they are, her reacting like that meant he was bad enough she was fearful for her life, meaning he was dangerous to us both" harry explained, many looked shocked she only looked at him once and she knew he was evil, other's were suspicious of the man who caused such a reaction from the girl, lily felt guilty for scolding her son when he was only doing what was right for him and his sister, regulus pulled her to him giving his silent support.
