{The scene changed to the next day, outside}

"Hi dean" Dahlia greeted as the boy came running up "Harry, I don't know who did it, but you'd better come! C'mon!" Dean said in a panic, the group raced after dean, following him to the boy's dorm. The room was trashed, everything scattered around, "It had to be a Gryffindor. The only non gryffindors that know the password are them and we know you wouldn't do this" hermione said, "unless.... It wasn't a student" Draco added "Whoever it was, they must have been looking for something." Blaise said, looking around, "And they found it. Tom Riddle's diary is gone." Harry said. "Welp, that Narrows it down to just gryffindor" Neville said, "it's a girl, Myrtle wouldn't have let a boy into the bathroom long enough to through a book at her" Dahlia said, "that Narrows it down, there's only 5 first year, gryffindor girls this year" hermione said, "one of those is my sister" Ron said concerned.

{The scene changes to the gryffindor team heading to the pitch}

"All right, listen up. We play our game, Hufflepuff doesn't stand a chance. We're stronger, quicker, and smarter." Oliver said as he led the way "Professor McGonagall." Greeted as their head of house stopped in front of him, "This match has been cancelled." McGonagall said immediately "They can't cancel Quidditch." Oliver protested. "Silence, Wood. You and your teammates will go to Gryffindor Tower, now. Potter, There's something you have to see." McGonagall said.

Everyone of the future group, touched or had a hold of Hermione in some way, reminding themselves and her that this was the past, that she was alive and well with them, hermione hugged Ginny, reminding the red head that it wasn't her fault, that she didn't blame her.

"I warn you, this could be a wee bit of a shock." McGonagall said, opening the door to the infirmary, harry stopped, staring at the sight of a petrified hermione, the rest of the group already there

"Oh no" Lily said, looking towards the group, their current behavior made since now, this was the first time one of their group had been injured, had been hurt

Dahlia looked up, her eyes puffy from crying, She was held in Blaise's arms, "haz.... " she said sadly "where was she found? " Harry managed to ask, his voice cracking slightly "the library, our bookworm was researching" Draco said, the others smiled slightly, knowing how much she loved her books.

{Scene change to the great Hall}

"Could I have your attention, please? Because of recent events, these new rules will be put into effect immediately.  All students will return to their house common rooms by six o'clock every evening. All students will be escorted to each lesson by a teacher. No exceptions.  I should tell you this: unless the culprit behind these attacks is caught, it is likely the school will be closed." McGonagall said sadly. "That's it, we have to figure out who did this" Ron said, he had taken hermione's petrification worse then the rest of them "I agree.... Neville, Daphne, Theo, Pansy, We'll need you to be our alibi's, Little moon, stay in your common room please. Draco, I need you to see if you can figure out which of the five girls is the culprit, Blaise and me will get a head start on finding Aragog, Harry, Ron, go see hagrid, see if you can find out where Aragog went" Dahlia said, everyone nodded, understanding their part.
