"Should we not be hiding or something?" I ask Lewis as we walk hand in hand up the pit lane of the Spa-Francochamps track. It's a somewhat silly question given that it's 4 am and no one is at the track to see us. I guess I'm just curious that he isn't being more cautious given that's certainly the best descriptor for him over the last few months. "Or sleeping?"

"This is the first weekend of your summer holidays! Why on earth would we sleep when we can adventure!" He asks, swinging my arm more as he goes and I laugh at his happy attitude. Right now he is totally carefree, totally different to the winter break before the season, at peace almost. The man was truly looking happy and so was I, until we were stood at the bottom of the hill he would be driving up later.

"I feel like we have had this conversation before so I'll say again... I'm not a sporty person. I'm not an outdoorsy person Lewis..." I tell him stubbornly, planting my feet firmly into the form and feeling him almost yank on my hand before he turns around. "So for me... sleep is what a summer holiday is for. I don't want to go on a 7km walk..."

"You said you would!" He exclaims indignantly, looking a little shocked that I'm now backing out of our agreed morning activity. It's worth pointing out that I was coerced into agreement with promises of good sex, which he followed through on without a doubt... but I was feeling distinctly not ready for this. I wasn't the type to do much in the morning, or in the evening to be honest, and my idea of having fun outdoors was being sat on a balcony or in a garden with a glass of wine in my hand. All of this is information that he knows about me which was why the deal had to be made and so I cock my hip and use my free hand to just point at the hill in front of us, trying to show why I was going back on my word.

"Because that hill is a hell of a lot taller and steeper than it seemed when I was looking at it from the paddock! You tricked me!" I laugh and he rolls his eyes, letting go of my hand but before I can get my hopes up about winning this debate, his hands are on my hips and my feet are moving from under me. "Oh my god, Lewis, get off of me!" I shriek out in laughter, giggling as he pushes me up the hill and I have to move my feet rapidly to keep up.

"Come on baby, you can do this. I promise it will be beautiful and worth it. You have to see it - especially with the sunrise. It's really something else," he tells me, hands dropping down to my ass as he pushes me up the hill slowly and there's another shriek of laughter from me when he does.

Funnily enough, the momentum of him pushing me lightly is helping and we're about halfway up the hill when we both realise that we're not as alone as we thought. There's a sound of a car moving slowly behind us which prompts Lewis to immediately move his hands when both our heads move towards the sound and he throws his arm around my shoulders instead of grabbing my ass. Weirdly I miss the feeling and my eyes drift back to Lewis who switches between smirking at me and looking towards the car.

"Photographer," he says simply, dropping his arm completely as the car gets closer, moving slowly presumably to not crash and also take the time to look around more. I looked around the side of Lewis, seeing that he was correct but while I now recognised him as one of the people I was meant to try and avoid each week, he wasn't currently holding a camera. I wave, smiling and after a moment Lewis follows suit, although remains stiff as I continue walking and he remains frozen. We continue walking up the hill, or at least I struggle to walk up the hill as I breathe heavily and just wait for the car to be out of sight before Lewis immediately places his hands back on me, helping me up the rest of the hill and prompting slightly tense laughter from us both.

"Is he a chatty one?" I ask when I can finally breathe again and he nods in agreement.

"Yes, but I think you dealt with that far better than me... sometimes being unafraid works. Besides, we have the stories... the other people who are in the picture, publicly anyway, are enough of a distraction. That being said, I will talk to him later," Lewis shrugs, reassuringly as I take the fact that there is now oxygen travelling to my brain properly to help me look around and take in our surroundings. "Just to be sure."
