It was morning, Hunter slept well, and so did Willow, but that day, before he left the house, Hunter prepared a picnic. For a proper date. Willow got up for the day, had a shower and got dressed. She looked outside through the window, it was a beautiful day. The sun was out, and the skies were blue, there were small clouds dotted around the sky and Willow thought to herself, what a wonderful day.
Willow was sat in her room, and she was reading a book, and she had headphones she got from the human realm in her ears, they fit pretty well despite her ear shape. There was a ring from the doorbell from Hunter, who was there for Willow. After attempting (and failing) small talk with her dads, Willow eventually retreated from her room, saw Hunter and ran up to him, swung her arms around his neck and kissed him on the cheek.
Hunter explained what they were doing, and that he was taking her on a real date. "Hunter, that is so sweet!" "Yeah, I know a picnic is a little cheesy, but I knew that you'd enjoy it, especally where our location is." "Hunter. Where are you taking me?" Willow continously pleaded the whole way, but Hunter wouldn't crack.
They reached a hill, and they climbed it, to find a large well kept willow tree, it draped down far, there was grass, with a plaid picnic blanket on it, and there was a hand-weaved picnic basket, with a lunch for two in it, the view from there was breathtaking. Willow put her hands on her mouth. "Hunter this is perfect! I love this so much!"
They ate, and laughed, and talked. and had an amazing time, they learned a lot about eachother, and with each word that came out of Hunter's mouth, Willow just fell deeper and deeper in love. Hunter felt in his element, he was with Willow, she was listening to him, and cared about what he had to say.
The sun eventually began to set, and they packed up the picnic into the basket, and Hunter began to walk Willow home, hand in hand. The amber light from the setting sun hit Willow again, and the light reflected off of her glasses and her shadow was walking along with them, and Hunter had the same the same sensation as he had on the pier, he was deeply in love.
Eventually Hunter dropped off Willow back at her home and he retreated back to his home, happy, and extremely satisfied with his day. Willow got home and flopped onto her bed, her heart fluttering, she screamed into her pillow, she was so happy, she loved Hunter so, so much.
