Days had passed and River still ignored me and avoided me like I was the plague. I wasn't gonna beg her though,neither was I gonna follow her around like a lost puppy.
Today was Lucas birthday and he was finally 16 meaning he's getting he's ID which we are all happy for.
"as soon as you get it you'll take a loan then buy us a house" I told him as we walked to class
"but you have your own ID" he said, actually I don't cause I'm only 15
"I know but doesn't it sound great? Buying a house for our whole group of friends, and we'll all stay in one house " I said tugging on his hoodie
"but Alice has one, why can't she take out the loan" River said. Litrally appearing out of nowhere
"no, Cause Alice is special so..." I said with a shrug and a bored expression since I didn't wanna talk to her
"wait can you really take out a loan as soon as you get your ID" Ophelia asked next to River
"no, Ophelia. It doesn't work that way " I sighed at the stupid question
"guys meet my girlfriend" River said
"oh my gosh congrats! How long have you been together" I said faking excitement just as I fake my life
"2 months now" Ophelia said with a proud smile
... But that would mean
"congrats you too, so when were you planning on telling us" I asked jokingly but deep down I wanted to scream

It was finally after school and the news about River and Ophelia dating was still bothering me so much I'd zone out thinking about it.
"awwe why does my monkey look sad" Alice said walking next to me, she had to walk home with me because I have one of her books so she has to come fetch it at my house .
I litrally offered to bring it tomorrow but she needs it today.
"the hell? if there's a monkey between the both of us it'd be you hun" I said
"Mhm see, this is what happens when humans try to talk to animals " she said turning her head
"no but seriously what's bothering you" she asked
"nothing really, I think I'm just hungry" I said cause it was partially true
"did you not just a pie 15 minutes ago" she asked
"yeah... But it didn't fill me up" I told her
"then when I call you a monkey I'm rude" she whisperd under her breath but made sure I heard it
"annnd that was the last strike. You not getting your book today"
I said opening my gate
"please Melanie you know my mom will kill me if I don't bring it back home"
"look who's talking to the monkey" I said getting inside but leaving her outside cause I couldn't let anyone see the inside of the house
"I never said monkey... I said Hungry Monkey" she said waiting outside
I laughed as I fetched her book
"should I walk you back home?" I asked
"you only asking me that so you can buy food on the way" she laughed
And indeed it was the truth
I laughed with her. As me and Alice walked to her place we joked and talked about everything and nothing, she took the River situation off my mind and that's what I loved about her, she always helped me get through things without asking me what's wrong but still giving advice.
We had gotten to her house and I was about to turn to go home when she said, "Don't think to hard about it okay?".
Damn how does she always know what's bothering me
"I won't" I smiled at her before walking back home

As soon as I got home I took a nap so I could clear my mind.
As soon as I woke up I decided to eat left over spaghetti and meatballs while scrolling on Instagram. I ate the left overs cold cause they taste better cold
I saw river put a story so I pressed it and saw her and Ophelia together, I liked it so I don't seem like a hater but deep down it hurt me.
But then again why would River like me? I'm not even as pretty as Ophelia. She has a nice body, a nice life basically a nice everything and what do I have? A loud personality.
I chuckled at the thought before going to my room to take another nap

"nothing, just tired" I said even tho I'm sure she knows what's up with me but I won't say it because she obviously knows what's bothering me and still doesn't acknowledge it
"Get a boyfriend maybe-" she didn't get to finish her sentence because I stood up and asked the teacher if I could go to the toilet
On my way to the toilet I saw Lara going there aswell
"girl who do I have to kill" she asked putting her hand on my cheek.
Lara is my ex best friend and ex in general but still treats me like a princess
"no one Lara, I'm just tired" I said
"ohky, Let's go inside the stall so I can freshen you up" she, said putting her hand on my waist and pulling me closer
"Mhm-mhh" I hummed walking inside with her
When we got in, she untucked my shirt putting her hands inside then put her hands under my bra and gently squeezed my boobs. I slightly gasped at her cold her hands.
She took her other hand out of my shirt and put it under my skirt
