It was finally Monday and time to go back to school.
The day was going pretty well and not much was going on Until lunchtime, I was sitting on Lara's lap wile she fed me fruits when the group of Jocks walked in.
"there she is! She's the pregnant one I was telling you about!!" I heard a familiar voice shout behind me. I turned to see the guy I saw on Saturday that I cried to about my pregnancy.
The whole cafeteria went silent as he was pointing at me.
I wasn't even fazed, Infact I continued to eat my cut up fruits. Since I didn't deny it everyone started whispering and I could hear my name.
I stood up from Lara's lap and climbed onto the table.
"Mel, no" Alice whispered trying to pull me back down.
My other friends hadn't heard about the news of me being pregnant yet so they would be shocked at the words that were about to come out of my mouth.
Since my skirt was really short Lara took of her blazer to wrap around my waist
"thanks love"i smiled at her
I turned to everyone since they were all looking at me curiously
" yes, yes I'm pregnant indeed. It's not something big, buuut I know some of yall deep down wanna be aunties and uncle's and I don’t mind! I'll be having a baby shower soon and if you wanna come you can talk to August about it!-" I pointed at August who looked around with an awkward smile." yah and that's all but yeass I'm expecting! "I excitedly told the school
" who's the father? " someone asked
" don't you worry your pretty little head about that" I said before blowing a kiss to everyone then sitting back down on Lara's lap
"your confidence is so hot" she whispered in my ear
"congratulations" all my friends around the table said to me
"you can't congratulate a teenager for being pregnant!" Camilla said
Everyone turned to look at her
"what?" I asked
"you being pregnant in high school, it's nothing to be proud of, it doesn't mean people should be congratulating you. You should be embarrassed for even being pregnant while you're still in school"
"well Sorry Camilla that I couldn't do 50 abortions like you, Infact I didn't have the guts to do one!" I told her confused as to why she's so angry
"I feel like abortion is better than coming to school embrassing yourself with a big belly. ATLEAST then people don't know that you did the deed" Candice butted in trying to fight for her friend
"okay, I understand what you two are saying... But how is that any of your business if I come to school pregnant. I don't even remember asking for your advice" I told her as calmly as I could
"well as a friend I'm telling you to kill it" Camilla said
"WILD" I heard August whisper
"you worry about the invitations for the baby shower" Autumn said hitting his shoulder
"but Camilla..it's mine if I want to keep it, I will and I know I already said it but I don't remember asking for your advice. I don't think I want advice from a girl with 22 failed relationships, 13 boyfriends,been cheat on 30 times, multiple STI's and had an abortion More than 5 times" I said then continued eating my fruits
I wasn't even angry at her for what she said. Infact it made sense but I just couldn't find it in my heart to get an abortion.
I sighed before getting up to leave and go to the toilet.
Lara stood up with me but I told her to sit back down cause I needed some alone time with my thoughts.
