Me, River and Alice sang on our way to the doctor, for my checkup in Alice's car since Rivers' had some problems

We soon got to the hospital in record time.
We signed in and went to the doctors room.
"we only allow the partner and their spouse" the doctor said looking between River and Alice
"yeah, I'm dating them both" I smiled at the doctor
"oh, who's the father cause there is no way a 15 year old got a sperm donor or IVF so where's he...?"
"uh.. 'he's' me" River said
"your transgender?... I see-"
"no Doc,I'm intersex" she whispered the last part like she was scared anyone would hear
"Ah that makes more sense, let's get you checked up missy" he said taking my hand and walking me to the chair
Turns out I'm 4 weeks pregnant which means Ive been pregnant for a month now, it was still too early to know the gender.
"I'm going to be an aunt!" Alice screams while the doctors telling me the does and don'ts
He just smiled back awkwardly "and they might be complications during birth since you're so young and small" he says
"well if you have to choose between me and the baby, pick me. I can make another baby but not another me" I laughed but everyone had serious faces
"tough crowd" I whisperd. On our way back home I asked Alice to leave me at Lara's place.
I wanted to tell her about everything before anyone else does.
I gently knocked on her door before she opened it.
"we need to talk" I whisperd to her
She nodded before taking my hand and leading me to her bedroom.
We both sat down on her bed.
"I'm pregnant" I told her
"oh, who's the father" She said calmly
"River" I said looking down at my lap feeling shame run up my body, the fact that Lara wanted to try again with me and I cheated made me feel like a bad person.
"How-oh yeah" She muttered under her breath
"You're not mad? I cheated on you" I told her
"I know, but I cheated last time remember? So I guess if I got angry I'd be a hypocrite" She smiled
"so you still wanna be with me?" I asked
"hell yeah, Melanie I like you, a lot and you make me so happy. You make me feel things I haven't felt. Just promise me you won't cheat again" She said holding out her pinky
"I promise" I smiled
"so... How far along are you?" She, asked excitedly before she asked to rub my stomach
"4,weeks" I smiled
"goodness me! Just say 1 month your acting like those mothers who be like 'yes, my son is 203weeks old' or '20 months'" She said
"Lara, I'm staying with River... Alone, my mom kicked me out"
"It's okay Mel I trust you" She kissed my forehead
"gosh, I don't deserve you" I smiled before trying to get up
"you think you can just leave now?" She threw me on the bed before getting on top of me
