Jk's pov :
Okay okay calm down.. Ahhhh~ finallyyyyy~ i always wanted to spend some alone time with my tae but that never happened.. But i think today my wish would come true. It's already 8 and I'm sure tae will be here after some minutes. I already texted him my address and also cleaned the house. I know we will just do the assignment but it's shouldn't feel like I'm irresponsible. I'm so nervous I don't know why, it's not like I'm gonna see tae for the first time but the feeling is something different. I was dancing out of joy. When a door bell sounded. IT'S HIM IT'S HIM..... I calmed myself before walking towards the door, taking deep breath. I opened the door and there stand the only kim taehyung, wearing the same outfit from this morning.

Jungkook was pulled from his thoughts by Tae's voice.

"Hello?" Tae said, snapping him back to reality.

"H-hy," Jungkook stuttered, internally cringing at his nervousness.

"Come, come inside," Jungkook quickly invited, gesturing toward the open door of his apartment.

"Thanks," Tae replied, stepping inside. He slipped off his shoes and swapped them for a pair of home slippers.

"Ahm... sit," Jungkook offered awkwardly, motioning to the couch. Despite feeling a rush of happiness seeing Tae in his apartment, the air between them felt stiff, almost unnatural. They weren't usually like this.

Tae hummed quietly before settling on the sofa.

"You must be tired. I'll bring you something," Jungkook offered, eager to be a good host. He was about to head to the kitchen when Tae's voice stopped him.

"Jungkook, let's just do the assignment. I need to be home before ten," Tae explained. Before coming over, he had messaged Mrs. Choi, asking her to watch over his daughter, Angel, for a bit longer due to an urgent task. She'd kindly agreed, but Tae still wanted to finish quickly so he could get back to her.

"Oh, okay," Jungkook replied, slightly disappointed that Tae was already thinking about leaving. "I've prepared the materials. They're in my room. We can move there, or I can bring them here."

Tae paused for a moment, thinking it over before answering. "Let's not waste time. We can work in your room."

Jungkook nodded, though he wasn't thrilled with the idea of Tae rushing out. He led the way to his room as Tae curiously looked around the apartment.

"You live alone?" Tae asked, noticing the quiet.

"Mostly, yes," Jungkook responded.

"Why?" Tae pressed, clearly interested in Jungkook's personal life.

Jungkook hesitated. "Ah..."

Tae noticed the awkwardness and quickly added, "It's okay if you don't want to share."

"No, it's just... My dad lives in his mansion, and my mom died when I was young, so..." Jungkook trailed off, unsure how to continue.

Tae's expression softened. "I'm sorry."

Jungkook shook his head. "No, it's okay."

"Why don't you live with your father?" Tae asked as they walked into Jungkook's room.

Jungkook smiled, amused by how curious Tae was. "I wanted to experience college life like a regular guy. It didn't feel right living in that big mansion."

Tae nodded in understanding, taking in Jungkook's explanation as they began to settle into the task at hand.

After some time they started their work and as promised both the boys sincerely did there assignment without any bickering. Tae was so busy in the work while jungkook was busy taking glanced of the boy in front of him looking so hot in his loose white shirt and tight skinny jeans.

Jungkook even asked taehyung to Change into his clothes as his [tae's] seems uncomfortable but tae denied not wanted to waste the time. Jungkook is little irritated about the fact that whenever he tried to make a conversation, tae was keep him reminding to concentrate on work so that they can finish it in less day.

It's already been 1.5 hour of them working, the target they set for today was completed. And they still have half hour left for the timeline of taehyung.

Jungkook leaned back with a sigh, closing his laptop. "Never in my life have I worked so much in just an hour and a half," he groaned, feeling the exhaustion set in.

"neither did I," Tae added, stretching his arms out to relieve the tension.

"If we keep up this pace, we'll definitely finish the assignment way before the deadline," Jungkook remarked, feeling a bit more optimistic now.

"I told you," Tae replied, matter-of-factly.

Satisfied with their progress, Tae began packing his things. "Well, we're done for today, so I should head out," he said, preparing to leave.

Before he could stand up, Jungkook suddenly let out a loud scream.

Tae jumped, startled. "What the- Why are you screaming?" he shouted back, confused.

Jungkook, clearly flustered, scratched the back of his neck. "I-I mean, you said you'd leave by ten, but there's still half an hour left."

Tae glanced at the time. "But we're done, so I can leave early."

"Wait..." Jungkook called out as Tae moved toward the door.

Tae turned around, a little frustrated. "Now what?" he asked, facing Jungkook.

Jungkook hesitated for a moment before speaking. "I-I mean, it's pretty late, and you haven't had dinner yet. How about you join me?"

Tae shook his head. "Thank you for offering, Jungkook, but I'm not hungry."

In truth, Tae was starving, but all he could think about was getting home to his daughter. Just as he declined, his stomach growled loudly, betraying him. Embarrassed, Tae looked down, avoiding Jungkook's gaze, who chuckled softly.

"Yeah, sure, you're not hungry," Jungkook teased, a playful smile on his face. "But I think your stomach disagrees."

Tae tried to protest, "No-"

But Jungkook cut him off. "Don't make excuses, Tae. We could have eaten by now. And don't worry, I'm not going to eat you," he joked, making his way to the kitchen, leaving Tae with no choice but to follow.

Tae's pov :
It's already 1 am but sleep is not ready to take over my eyes. After i came back from Jungkook's house i took my sleeping angel into our house. Laying her comfortably on bed. I was so tired today because of continuous work first college, then the part-time job and then the assignment. But all those tiredness just vanished when i saw her. The way a small smile took it's place on her lips when i took her into my arms made my heart felt Peace and joy.

After getting fresh and changing into something comfortable i lied besides my angel, cuddling her. But my mind was filled with Jungkook. That boy is really weird. Like i just can't understand him. Sometime he is mean and rude other he is sweet and caring. Sometimes he looked at me like I'm some celebraty then other like I don't exist.

Whenever we are alone he do tease me no doubt but just some small teasing. I do accept that he never hurted me neither physically nor mentally. He just annoy me but whenever i talk with him on text or when we are alone it felt like that Jungkook is different from the one who i consider my enemy. It's so irritating. Why can't he just act as one why playing double role and confusing me.. Leave him taehyung just sleep for now, this one week is gonna be tough for you.
