Jungkook and his friends were sprawled across the sofa, limbs heavy, completely drained after a long day of moving. Boxes were still scattered around the small living room, but none of them had the energy to care. The house, small and cozy, stood right across from Taehyung's, and that was the only thing keeping Jungkook from collapsing in complete defeat.

Jungkook rested his head on the back of the couch, a small grin on his face. "It's perfect," he murmured, too tired to move but not too tired to enjoy the thought of being so close to Taehyung.

"Perfect?" Jackson groaned, his voice dripping with irritation-or maybe just exhaustion. "Perfectly insane." He turned his head to look at Jungkook, disbelief evident on his face. "I still don't understand why you left your luxurious apartment for this tiny place?"

Jungkook chuckled softly, though his body barely moved. "Because,... living across from Tae is the best way to win him over. Proximity works wonders, trust me."

Jackson threw his hands up, or at least tried to-his arms barely made it halfway before they flopped back down. "You gave up a luxury apartment for this. I'll never get it."

Kai, slouched on the arm of the couch, chimed in, "Yeah, man, I'm with Jackson. How's living across the street from him going to make him fall for you? You're just going to be staring out the window like some stalker."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but a smile still lingered. "It's called strategy, guys. The more he sees me around, the more familiar I become. Plus, I can keep an eye on him-make sure he's okay."

Jhope, who was lying on the floor with an arm draped over his eyes, groaned. "This is ridiculous. You're really planning to win Taehyung over by moving in front of him? This feels like the plot of a bad rom-com."

Namjoon, sitting up a little straighter than the others, nodded thoughtfully. "I mean, it could work... in theory. Proximity does help build relationships. Familiarity, daily interactions... It's not entirely a bad idea."

Jackson groaned a little, sitting straight a bit, "I don't understand, what was the hurry to shift today itself? We got Saturday tomorrow, we could have easily shifted in two days." kai nodded agreeing with jackson.

"Exactly, tomorrow is Saturday and on weekends, tae stays at home. And i want to surprise him, which would have been impossible if we shift in front of him." Jungkook explain.

Jin, sprawled out on the other side of the couch, sighed dramatically. "The bad idea was us agreeing to help move you in. We've been at this since morning. My arms feel like jelly."

Suga, who had somehow managed to find the comfiest spot on the couch, raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't even supposed to be here. I got dragged into this."

Jin grumbled, "And don't even get me started on convincing Mrs. Choi. That woman almost called police, thinking we're some crazy guys!"

Jackson sat up, looking over at Jin and Namjoon. "Yeah, what even happened back there? Kai and I were pretty sure we ruined it when we made that joke about 'her age.'"

Kai snickered weakly. "It was Jhope's idea to say we'd keep it 'lively.' I just went along with it."

Namjoon rubbed his temples, recalling the awkward conversation. "Mrs. Choi almost said no on the spot. You guys have no idea how hard Jin and I had to work to turn it around. She was this close to kicking us out."

Jin nodded, his voice still dramatic despite his exhaustion. "Luckily, we pulled it back by talking about how responsible Jungkook is. Showed her his good side, told her he's a model student, never late to class, doesn't make a mess-"
