Meanwhile.
"I trust they don't suspect my hand in all this." Gold said as he looked at the unconscious married couple down in the mines.
"They had no reason to," Ursula said to him.
"And Belle? Did she have any suspicions while you were in my shop?" He continued to ask, keeping his eyes on the Charmings.
"You mean, did she ask about you?" Ursula asked him with a slight scoff.
"She didn't even mention your name, Darling," Cruella smirked at him. "I'd say she's moved on." She smirked, proudly teasing him.
Gold clenched his jaw, not saying a word as he took out a pocketknife. He extended the blade, handing it to Cruella. "You know what you must do," he said to Cruella before walking away.
Cruella knelt down, slicing Mary Margaret and David's hands, making them wake up, gasping in pain. She let the blood drip off the end of the blade to drop onto the pile of Maleficient's ashes.
"What did you do?" Mary Margaret asked with a scoff as she sat up.
"The dark magic we're using to raise Maleficent doesn't require some silly, little trinket from Gold's shop. No, that was just a ruse to get you down here. We need something with a little more kick." Cruella explained to them as the blood looked like it was melting into the ashes as it boiled.
"The blood from the people who wronged her most," Ursula smirked as David and Mary Margaret looked at the rumbling and boiling ashes in fear.
"We're too late." Mary Margaret sighed.
Everyone jumped off the ground as Maleficent rose again with screams and distant whistles. David held onto his wife while they watched in fear. At the same time, Cruella and Ursula smirked as they watched their old frenemy rise again.
Maleficent turned into a dragon, growling out, before dropping to the ground in a cloud of black smoke, where she appeared in her human form: horns and all.
"It's good to be back." She smirked, looking only at the Charmings.
