Regina sighed, moving over to look down at the sleeping Pinocchio. She sighed out of guilt as she looked at the closed door. She did not want to kidnap Pinocchio. Gosh, she felt so difficult.

The door opened as Regina turned, fearing it was Maleficient who would witness her hesitation.

"Regina," Emma whispered as Regina relaxed a bit.

"Emma? What are you doing here?" Regina asked her in a whisper.

"I've been watching you, and my gut said something was wrong."

"Well, it will be if you don't get out of here." Regina scoffed at her, still keeping her voice down.

"Not until you tell me what Maleficient has you in here doing." Emma scoffed at her.

"They're after Pinocchio." Regina sighed, looking at the sleeping boy.

"I told you these things never end well. We'll have to do this quickly. Let's take him out the back and then find a safe place--"

"One little snafu, and you're ready to pack up? What happens when Mal realizes and lets loose her inner dragon?" Regina asked Emma with a scoff, trying to look by the nearest window to see the car headlights.

"This is a child we are talking about, Regina. It's too big a risk."

"Not if I'm there to keep him safe." Regina retorted. "If they try to harm him, I'll stop them and fight my way out." She continued to say as Emma's eyes widened.

"Three of them! One of you?" Emma scoffed at her.

"I know you think I'm in over my head, but I got this. You don't know them like I do." Regina spat, scoffing at her.

"Then enlighten me because ever since they came to town, my superpower's been going haywire... like everyone, including my own parents, is keeping something from me." Emma scoffed out of frustration.

"Emma, the only ones keeping secrets are Maleficent and her friends," Regina said, respecting Mary Margaret and David's secret.

Because, unlike some people, she could actually keep a secret.

"They've taken a page out of the heroes' playbook. They're working together, which means we have to take a page out of theirs and break some rules." Regina continued to explain as she kept looking out the window, scared of Maleficent worrying about why she was taking so long.

"I'll be right on your tail. I see anything I don't like, and I will come in blazing." Emma said after a small pause.

Regina nodded as she continued to pick up the sleeping boy.

Maleficent stood outside the car as Regina walked out. Maleficent smiled as she opened the door, watching Regina place him inside.

"It's good to have you back," Maleficent smirked as Regina stood up, giving Maleficent a look that showed that she was still the same.

Regina smiled as she watched Maleficent get back into the passenger seat. But Regina looked down at her phone, knowing that Emma was tracking her. She had to stop Emma from following her and risking everything.

"There you are." Cass sighed in relief as they approached a teenage boy sitting on a bench outside the Rabbit Hole

"I've been here the whole time." Hiro sighed, his arms crossed over his chest and his hood on his head.

"It's late. Let's go, kiddo." Cass smiled, tapping Hiro's shin with the top of her black pair of flats.
