*Many, many years ago*

*Neverland*

Captain Hook walked around his ship when he scoffed, seeing Mr. Smee at the wheel while eating. "Mr. Smee, we are to return to Neverland with a full hold-- not full bellies." Hook spat at his right-hand man.

"Come on, Captain. Pan will never notice if a few cakes are missing." Mr. Smee sighed, looking at his captain.

"You can eat as many cakes as you want after I find a way to destroy the Dark One. Until then, we keep Pan happy." Hook spat, raising his voice at Smee.

"Of course." Mr. Smee nodded, looking down.

Their argument was cut short as they heard an echo of a voice.

"Do you hear that?" Hook asked Smee.

The noise continued as the rest of the crew looked in the direction of the voice. It was a calming but luring harmony.

Hook walked to the side of the ship, taking out his telescope as he tried to see what was making that sound in the distance. He could not see anything but fog.

"It's beautiful," Smee said, referring to the noise.

The entire Jolly Roger becomes entranced by the voice before Hook seems to be the only one to snap out of it. Once he snapped out of the trance, he looked through his telescope to see sharp rocks in their direction.

"Rocks! Dead ahead!" He yelled, making his crew snap out of it.

Hook rushed to take over the wheel to keep them from crashing into the rocks while the crew moved to hold the ropes of the sails.

"That voice, Captain... What was it?" Mr. Smee asked, joining Hook's side.

"The most dangerous creature in all the seas-- a mermaid." Hook sighed, continuing to steer his ship away from the rocks.

*Present day*

*Storybrooke*

Ursula listened to an opera over the radio the next day as she was outside the cabin. She closed her eyes in delight as she listened to the woman's harmonizing voice.

"Darling. Come. You're missing out on all the fun." Cruella smirked as she walked outside to get Ursula.

Ursula sighed, turning off the radio and setting it on the wooden railing before following Cruella inside.

"I already told you-- I don't know anything about this author." August tried to plead with Maleficent, Gold, and Regina as he sat up with his hands tied behind his back.

"Well, perhaps you could use a little incentive." Ursula spat and grabbed a knife as she and Cruella walked inside.

"Oh, that knife is not gonna make me remember something that I don't know." August scoffed.

"Wait..." Regina said, using her magic to make the knife appear in her hand.

"Is there a problem?" Ursula asked with a scoff.

"I knew she didn't have the stomach for this." Cruella snarled as Regina scoffed out of frustration.

"Please." Regina scoffed at her. "I was torturing people back when you were still playing with puppies." She said to Cruella, setting the knife on the table behind her before walking toward August. "This sorry excuse for a man used to be made of wood. So, let's light a fire under him and see what happens." She said as August's eyes widened, watching Regina create her signature fireball.
