Storybrooke, Maine.
Maleficent sighed, looking down at the baby rattle in her hand as she sat at Regina's desk. She sighed, looking at the many pictures on Regina's desk. It was pictures of Dream and Henry when they were babies. And now there were pictures of Evangelina and Sebastian. She wanted that. She wished she could have watched her daughter grow up.
Her thoughts were interrupted as the door opened.
"Maleficent?" Mary Margaret spoke up as both of the Charmings cautiously walked into the office.
"Go. Now. I don't wanna see either one of you."
"Just hear us out, please." David tried to say.
"We realized, we've been so concerned about earning Emma's forgiveness, that... we forgot about the person we hurt most." Mary Margaret sighed, walking closer to the desk.
"So, you're here to apologize. I'm afraid I'm not the one who forgiveness you really need." Maleficent said, placing down the rattle as Mary Margaret looked at it with guilt in her eyes.
"Your daughter..."
"She was an innocent. It's her you need to apologize to." Maleficent said as Mary Margaret nodded.
"We will. We will do everything we can to make it up to her." Mary Margaret said to Maleficent, hoping to relieve some of the guilt she felt.
"Whatever it takes." David added.
"Do you think that'll be enough?" Maleficent asked them, but they did not respond. "Well, you've been so worried that the Dark One might turn Emma or Dream into a monster, you forgot that exactly what you did to my Lilth. So, if I won't forgive you, why would she?" She continued.
Lowell, Massachusetts.
Regina hung up the phone where she was talking to Dream, when Emma walked back out of the diner. "Emma, what are you doing?" Regina asked her.
"I just swiped Starla's time card. It has her real address." Emma said, passing over the card to Regina.
"But she said she didn't want our help."
"And she was lying." Emma scoffed a bit.
"You saw her with her child?"
"A child. You know me. I know when someone's lying, and she was. She always has. Why would she be any different now?" Emma asked as the two of them walked to her yellow bug. "Something's wrong. We have to go find her. I'm gonna help her this time. I'm gonna get her back to her mom." She said as the two of them got into the car.
Storybrooke, Maine.
"You feel her slipping away?" Cass asked as she was walking down the road with Neal.
"Yeah... I mean, the first time I pushed her away because August said it was her destiny... And then, in Neverland... But now, it feels different. I feel like maybe it was a mistake that my sister brought me back to life." He sighed, walking with his hands in his pockets.
"Don't say that, Neal." She sighed, stopping as he looked at her. "Not many people get the chance you got. Maybe you need to tell Emma how you feel." She sighed, when he looked down at his shoes.
"I don't know what that is..." He sighed, looking up at Cass.
Lowell, Massachusetts.
"No kid stuff." Emma said as she got into Lily's house, looking around at the pretty empty house. "No sign of a husband." She added.
"Okay, well, if you want me to admit you were right, well... you were right." Regina sighed, looking around the pretty small trailer.
"Can't blame her for running off. I was about to tell her she's Maleficent's daughter." Emma scoffed a bit, walking through the house.
"Yeah, that might have been tough to swallow... Considering I waited nineteen years to tell Dreamy who her father was. And I probably would have waited longer if she did not have the visions."
"Yeah, well, you know how long it took for me to believe and that was in Storybrooke." Emma scoffed a bit, trying to look for any kind of clues in each room.
"Emma..." Regina's eyes widened.
"What?" Emma asked, before looking where Regina was going. Once she saw what Regina was looking at, her eyes widened too.
"Might be simpler than you think..."
