"Oh..."
Neal looked up as he dropped his room key after bumping into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry." He apologized, looking up to see an older woman.
"It's alright; I was not looking where I was going." The woman said with a slight chuckle, kneeling over to pick up the papers scattered all over the floor.
"Oh, here, let me help you," Neal said with a slight smile, moving to help her pick up the papers.
"Thank you..."
"Neal. Neal Cassidy." He smiled, extending his hand to her.
"Miyu Yang." She smiled as they picked up the papers and stood up again while Neal handed her the stack that he had picked up.
"Mother?"
The two of them turned to a woman who definitely caught Neal's eyes. She was beautiful. Which caused him to clear his throat as she approached them.
"I can't find Hiro again." The woman said to Miyu, who sighed, moving to pinch the bridge of her nose.
"I told you he would sneak out again... He never listens." Miyu sighed when Neal looked between them.
"Who's Hiro? Your dog?" Neal asked with his hands in his pockets.
"No..." The women chuckled at him.
"Hiro's my nephew. And he's not the best at listening..." The woman sighed with a slight chuckle.
"Oh... Maybe I could help you find him." Neal suggested with a small smile. "I mean, I have experience..."
"Finding missing kids?" The woman asked him with another chuckle.
"No, uh... I have a son. Henry." Neal smiled as Miyu furrowed her brows.
"Henry Mills? Isn't that the mayor's son?" She asked him.
"Uh, yeah... It's complicated. But I could help you find Hiro if it helps." He shrugged, keeping his eyes on the woman, who he had not learned her name yet.
"I appreciate it. Let's go, then."
"Take my car, Cass. I know you tend to forget to fill up." Miyu said, reaching her daughter for the keys.
"I filled up... like a week ago, Mother." Cass sighed before giving in to take the keys. "You coming?" She asked, looking at Neal.
"Yeah... Y-Yeah, of course."
Meanwhile, Emma continues to follow Regina and Maleficient from afar. She kept tracking them on the GPS for Regina.
Regina stopped the car as she looked to the side.
"We're here," Maleficient said as Regina furrowed her brows.
"This can't be right. This is Marco's house... the town handyman." Regina looked back at Maleficient. "The only magical object you'll find here is duct tape." She let out a small scoff.
"I assure you, there's something far more valuable. Actually, someone-- that naughty little piece of pine he calls a son."
"The magical object you're after is Pinocchio?" Regina asked her in disbelief.
"He has information about the Author, and we intend to make him tell us," Maleficient added as Regina sighed a bit in relief since she had already tried Pinocchio.
"Which would be a good plan if I hadn't tried already. When August was turned back into a boy, his memory was wiped. He doesn't remember anything." Regina explained to her.
"Maybe the trouble was you not asking your questions more forcefully..."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Regina asked her with slightly widened eyes.
"I'm beginning to worry Cruella and Ursula were right. You've spent so much time around heroes... you've forgotten who you really are." Maleficient spat.
"I'd be careful questioning my commitment." Regina scolded her.
"You want to prove to me you're the Evil Queen, I remember? Go inside there now and steal that little boy."
Meanwhile, Marco walked around the wooden horse. He smiled, watching how excellently Pinocchio had been sanding the rocking horse.
"Wonderful work, Pinocchio. She's ready, huh?" He asked, kneeling down to his level. "All that is left is to see how she gallops." He chuckled before pushing on the horse to see it rocking back and forth.
"How's that, Papa?" Pinocchio asked with a smile.
"She is a steed fit for a prince." He smiled before their sweet moment was interrupted by a knock at the door.
The door opened as Regina walked in.
"Hello, Marco... Pinocchio. May I come in?" She greeted them, closing the door behind her.
"Of course." Marco nodded as Pinocchio seemed a little uneasy. "Is, uh-- is everything all right? The rocking horse... It is almost ready for the nursery--" Marco went to ask, but Regina squeezed her eyes shut and waved her hand.
Both Marco and Pinocchio dropped to the ground as if they were sleeping.
