*Many, many years ago*

*The Enchanted Forest*

Hook left the tavern alone, heading in the direction of his ship. But he stopped. He had a sense that someone had been following him.

"The last man who tailed me ended up with a dagger in his gut--" Hook tried to threaten, but as quickly as he turned around, everything went black.

Two soldiers with pointy helmets drug Hook to his ship. They removed the burlap sack from his head, pushing him forward.

Once Hook realized where he was, he let out a scoff. "You dare drag me onto my own ship? You're a dead man." Hook scoffed at the man before him, who held a triton.

"You listen to me," the man scoffed, his voice echoing through the whole area. "My daughter is not going anywhere near this vessel tomorrow," he commanded, but Hook chuckled in amusement.

"Well, threatening me isn't gonna make her change her mind." He chuckled at the man, attempting to be threatening.

"I don't need to change her mind. You do." The man said, extending his hand to reveal a shell.

"How's a seashell gonna help me?" Hook asked him with another scoff.

The man smirked, waving his enchanted triton over the shell, making it glow for a moment. "It's now enchanted to take away her reason to leave-- her voice. Or rather, her singing voice. If she can't sing, she'll return to the sea, where she belongs." The man continued as Hook lowered his brows, attempting to keep his cold exterior.

"She told me what that voice means to her. I won't betray her, not since she spared my ship." Hook said, shying away from his villain side for a moment since he lost Milah.

"What if I could offer you a way to destroy the Dark One?" The man asked, taking a few steps toward Hook.

"What do you know about my feud with the Crocodile?"

"I know you've spent a lifetime searching for a way to kill him. I can offer you magic that will finally set you free." The man said, intriguing Hook a bit.

"What kind of magic do you mean?" Hook asked, knowing he had been searching for years for a way to kill the Dark One.

"Squid ink. A single drop is potent enough to paralyze any being, even Rumplestiltskin."

"And all I have to do is steal your daughter's singing voice?" Hook asked, furrowing his brows.

"It's simple, Pirate. Just show her how awful humans really can be."

*Present day*

*Storybrooke, Maine*

"It's cute this way... Like a relic." Dream said as Hook picked up the bottle that his ship was in.

"Cute? My ship has shrunken, love!" Hook scoffed, looking at the bottle with widened eyes.

"I know. But we can figure it out... Many something that Belle could find." Dream suggested as Ursula scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"What?" Hook asked, turning to look at her.

"I just don't see it... You don't act anything like your mother or father." Ursula said, looking at Dream.

"I'll take that as a compliment." Dream said, narrowing her eyes at Ursula.

"You act like... a Charming. Like that Emma." She spat, trying to insult Dream.

"I'm not going to take your comments as insults. I don't see what's wrong with not acting like I hate my life. I love my life." Dream said as Ursula rolled her eyes. "I have the best family anyone could ask for. I have a handsome husband and two beautiful babies. So, if I act like "a Charming," then so be it." Dream said, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Mmm... I may have been mistaken." Ursula said, making Dream furrow her brows. "You have your mother's look when she's arguing."

"I've been told I look like her. Especially when I use my magic." Dream smirked when Hook moved to grab her arm.

"Love..."

"And I know the truth... Your magic is slowly killing you." Ursula said as Dream's eyes widened. "All your mother does is talk and talk about how great her kids are. Every other word is about you or Henry." Ursula said in annoyance.

"Let's go to Gold's... Before the twins need their nap. Alright?" He looked between them.

"Yeah, let's go." Ursula scoffed, turning to the direction of Dream's car.

"Do hope we're not interrupting..." Hook said, following Ursula into Gold's shop as Belle was talking to Will Scarlet. "But we need the thief's assistance." He added, pushing the stroller as Dream hesitated.

She looked around the shop and stopped at the door. It was like she feared going into the shop.

"And how do I know that you're really Killian?" Belle asked, looking skeptical at Hook.

"Oh, now you decide to question my identity?" Hook scoffed at her.

"If he were the Dark One, lover boy, here would already be dead." Ursula scoffed, looking at Will.

"Yeah, she's got a point there." Will sighed, looking at Belle.

"Not to mention that I have my wife and children with me..." Hook scoffed at Belle, looking down at the stroller as the babies were sleeping, then over to Dream, who froze at the door. "Love? It's alright..." Hook said, extending his hand out as the others looked over to Dream.

"I'm fine... right here..." She sighed, looking around as if there was a monster going to pop out of the blue.

"Love..." Hook gave her a concerned look when Dream sighed, walking over to hold his hand.

"Why should I help you?" Will asked, stiffening up as he looked at Dream, who held her husband's hand.

"Because for once, we want the same thing-- the Dark One gone." Hook said, gritting his teeth as Will looked at him. "The key to making that happen is in here." He continued, pulling out the bottle with his ship inside out of the diaper bag.

"Right... That your ship, is it?" Will asked, looking closer at the small ship.

Hook nodded.

"Bit small, isn't it?" Will asked, standing up straight again.

"Careful, mate." Hook warned him with a scoff.

"Apparently, you can't comment about the ship... He gets upset." Dream chuckled a bit, smiling with Belle and Ursula.

"Aye. It's unwise to insult the size of a pirate's ship, love." Hook scoffed, looking at his wife. "And you spent more time in Wonderland than anyone I know. You must have something that can restore it." Hook said, turning back to Will.

"You're in luck. I think I might have just what you need."
