Chapter 5

"Aaira", "Aaira ", Mamii calls.

   "Yes Mamii", Aaira answers as she rushes to the dinning table.

    "Why did it take you soo long to come down stairs, whyyy", Mamiii shouts out of frustration.

"Ehhm, Mamii am extremely sorry, but I came downstairs immediately I heard you calling me," Aaira says trying to justify herself.

     "So your level of disrespect has reached to the extent of talking back at me. I think I've given you tooo much freedom right. That ends today", Mamii says.

   No,  Mamii I didn't mean to.......
      
Before Aaira could complete her sentence Mamii cuts in.

"Ohhh, and you're still talking back at me. I was too busy planning Nasreen's wedding that I forgot to show you your place." Mamii shouts again.
 
     "Mamii please don't waste your time on this useless fool, we have better things to do. My wedding is still pending." Nasreen says to Mamii.

       "Subhanallah, Ya Nasreen you're insulting your sister, Astagfrillah. My islamiyya teacher told me that insulting is haram. Ya Nasreen you're indulging in haram practices." Maaya says.

     "Shut up! You big mouthed idiot. I wasn't talking to you so stay in your limits", Nasreen shouts.

       "Stay in your own limits as well. Am trying to correct you and you're giving me attitude, your very shameless", Maaya yells.

   "Isn't she your elder sister, Maaya you've become very disrespectful. You're just 7 years of age and you're challenging Nasreen who is 21." Salim says.

      "Hehehe, the people in this house are very funny aswear. Salim and Mamii will support Ya Nasreen while Karim and Ya Ruqayyah will support Ya Halima. While me and Abdul only support the person who's right. And Salim you don't normally involve your self with anything that's going on in this house, so please mind your business and continue pressing your phone as usual." Maaya says.

   Abdul is the 4th child of the Mukhtar family. He is Aaira's immediate younger brother. He will be introduced later on in the story.

      "All of you should shut up, I don't want to hear anything from anyone." Mamii shouts.

            The room becomes very silent.

"Aaira you see what you've done. You made this siblings to fight," Mamii shouts again.

        Mamii if you think I did anything wrong then am extremely sorry." Aaira apologises.

  "Your sorry won't get you out of this mess. Am sick and tired of hearing this sorry every single time." Mamii says.

       "The reason I actually called you was so you could take this disgusting food out of my mist. Do you want to poison us or what. Are you trying to do the same thing you did to your father, you want to do it on us as well right." Mamii says.

    Out of anger Mamii carries her bowl of food and throws it at Aaira aiming for her face.

      "Aaira, Aaira ", Karim and Maaya shout running to her direction.

       "Are you alright sis, did it hurt you anywhere on your face," Kareem asks worried.

       Aaira nods her head implying that she's alright.

     "Are you blind Karim, can't you see her hand is bleeding and you're asking her if she's alright. Mamii what's this isn't she your daughter, so please treat her like one." Maaya says out of annoyance.

       "Some children have to be treated differently my dear. She's the only reason we're in this condition it's only because of her. It's because of what she did to her father." Mamii shouts.
