'Pray forgive my bluntness, Your Grace, but talk of men is moot.' The old man spoke up, interrupting her father. 'Your cause owns a power that has not been seen in this world since the days of old Valyria, dragons!'

Visenya, Jacerys, Rhaenyra, Daemon and the rest of their family residing in Dragonstone along with the council members and a handful of knights had been gathered in the meeting room.

The stone table ahead lit with the melted wax of candles flowing through each carving, bringing the map to life as they strategise their attack and in the past three minutes and ten this has been the most effective idea Visenya has heard being offered.

'The greens have dragons too.'

'They have three adults, by my count.' Daemon cut in, keeping his hands off of the heated stone. 'We have Syrax, Caraxes, and Meleys. Your children have Vermax, Arrax and Tyraxes. Baela has moon dancer.'

Rhaenyra stared up at her husband. 'Daemon none of our dragons have been to war.'

'There are also unclaimed dragons. Sea Smoke who resides on Driftmark. Vermithor and Silverwing dwell on the Dragonmount, still riderless.' Visenya turned as a knight entered the council room, Ser Erryk immediately going to his side as the Queen continued to speak.

'And who is to ride them?'

'Dragonstone has thirteen to their four. I also have a score of eggs incubating on the Dragonmount. Now-' Daemon moved, walking around the table. Visenya watched Ser Eryyk's alerted expression with a frown. '-we need a place to gather. Large enough to hold a sizable house, here. We cut off the west, surround King's Landing with the dragons. And we could have every green heads mounted on the spikes before the fucking moon turns.'

'Your Grace.' Ser Erryk interrupted, walking towards the Queen tensely. 'A ship has been sighted off shore. A lone galleon, flying a banner of a three headed green dragon.'

'That has to be blasphemy.' Visenya commented just as her father kicked into the war lord that he is.

'Alert the watch towers, sight the skies.'

Jacerys moved, already going towards his sword that had been laying near the wall and as Visenya moved to follow him she was pulled back by a rough hand on her shoulder.

'You stay here.' Daemon commanded only for his daughter to shake out of his hold. 'Visenya-'

'You will not keep me away when those green cunts have come knocking on our doors.' The Princess turned her anger on her father, skirts swishing as she went.

'Keep that anger for when it matters.' Daemon spoke, voice calms as he softened his hold on her. 'You are my daughter, Visenya, you will get your chance at bloodshed.'

'Jacerys!' The King called once more over her shoulder, the Prince reluctantly stopping, back turned towards the his father. 'You still stay within the castle walls with your sister, boy.'

'I am the heir-'

'And that is exactly why you stay. You are more useful to your mother alive.'

The Princess turned towards her mother for support but the Queen was already long gone, the back of her robes vanishing into the staircase that would lead to Dragonstone's pit.

'It is no easy thing, for a man to be a dragonslayer.'

Visenya watched from the wall as Daemon spoke, her brother standing beside her. From the castle's view, she had spotted Otto Hightower speaking to her mother about the terms Alicent Hightower has presented.
