Visenya was going to kill him.

She did not know how nor when she would take his life, though she was certain she would. After the Princess had used to Prince to her fullest, after he had withered with no use for her she would sink her blade into his heart while staring into his pale eye, watching the pain and realisation sink in that she would be the one that would come out victorious in the end.

The cries of Arrax still haunts her in her sleep, the pain she had felt after having a stick of wood pierced through her thigh. The burnt wound she still carries, the permanent limp in her leg.

As the door to the prisoner's chambers closed behind her, the guards straightening themselves within her presence Visenya took in a deep breath to contain her composure. She gave them a bright smile before turning, hands clasped in front of her.

The silence of the castle made anxiety fill her heart. It was only slightly a week in which she had spent away from home, constantly alerted and hiding from potential threats but the safety of her home no longer felt safe.

It could be the impending war, or the greed in her heart that had grown far bigger than it could bear.

"Visenya." Her mother's voice broke her from her thoughts.

The Queen was making her way towards the princess, flocked by four personal guards. The golden crown on her head sits beautifully against her straight silver hair. Visenya gave her mother a small smile, bowing her head.

"My Queen."

Rhaenyra gave a small huff. "I would think of us past formalities, Visenya. Not like you had tried to keep them in the first place." The Queen turned towards her guardsmen, giving them a short nod and immediately they obeyed her silent commands, backing away and giving Rhaenyra her space to talk privately with the Princess.

Blue eyes flickered towards the door where her prisoner lies, a visible frown on her face.

"Are you well, child? Does your leg still hurt?" Rhaenyra asks instead, placing a hand on her daughter's arm. Visenya gave a gentle shake of her head.

"The pain has dulled, only when I run or make sudden movements does it strain."

Rhaenyra nodded, before gently guiding her forward, away from prying ears. "And what of your arm?"

"It has dried, mother, the Maester says it would be impossible to heal completely though I'd be able to move my arm as I once did soon enough."

"Good, good."

Visenya could see the hesitant approach in her mother's eyes. "What is it?" They were now approach one of the castle's many balconies. At this time of day, the light still shines brightly, the warmth a welcoming blanket to her skin as the cool breeze continued to blow in from the ocean.

Rhaenyra took a deep breath, letting the hand on her daughter's arm fall as she spoke. "Why did you burn all of Storms End, Visenya?" Visenya looked into her mother's eyes. The Queen had always been easy to read, ever since the Princess was young and even now, the emotions in her mother's face failed to hide themselves from her.

Her heart squeezed, it was a look she had never seen before. Filled with pain, hope and regret.

"They had spoke of treason against you, Mother. Mocked you for your rightful claim to the throne and sent me-"

Rhaenyra had turned upon her daughter at once, skirts swishing around her as she placed both of her hands on the Princess's shoulders. "We do not burn the innocents, Visenya. Not for mere words that were said-"

"They were not innocents-"

"Have they raised a sword against us?" Rhaenyra asked, cutting her daughter off. "We do not rule with fear and terror, Visenya. With your actions you may as well have started the war."
