Chapter 6: Determination

You give Kagami on a ride of your trike once you arrive at school, whilst Vanitas and Adrien are waiting at the entrance for Kagami. Looking up from his phone, Vanitas sees you in awestruck as you remove your helmet to fix your long dark twilight flowing hair when the wind blows.

Vanitas sighs out of love and he doesn't care that his heart is beating so loud, he's a lucky guy to have you. Adrien was waving his hand at his face and nothing seems to snap him out of his love struck (Y/n)'s sense that are tingling.

"Thanks, (Y/n)." Upon giving you her helmet, Kagami walks to the school entrance to join Adrien.

"Good luck!" You wave and see Vanitas already dashing towards you smashing you with  a tight embrace.

"My turn!" Vanitas made you sit in the back so he could drive and place his helmet on.

"Someone's exited." You joked and wrap your arms around  his waist securely.

"You know me to well." Vanitas smirks and rev the steering wheels before storming off.

Adrien keeps watching with a lovesick smile, distracted by how your hair  looks down, to which Kagami notices after joining him. "Van really can't wait for his girlfriend to drive them for a honeymoon."

"That's because Vanitas quit his fencing class." Adrien frowns at Kagami's remark.

In the locker room. Kagami has finished changing into her fencing uniform and sees Adrien, who is taking a look at one of her art pieces — a beautiful watercolor art of (Y/n) and Marinette.

"Like what you're seeing?"

"Huh? W-What? Who?" Adrien gets cut off from his enamored trance.

"My watercolor. Do you like it?"

"It's like...you can almost see through her eyes, deep into her soul." Adrien stares back at the art piece, mesmerized. "So beautiful."  The realization dawns.  "The watercolor, I mean. It's so beautiful."

Kagami scoffs at Adrien's attempt at pretending. She grabs her phone and reaches it to him. "You're going to ask Marinette out."

"Huh? But why?"

"Because you obviously have feelings for her. Call her."

"Of course, I don't. She's just a friend."

"You look at her the way I'd wished you looked at me. Call her."

Adrien frowns.  "No, you're wrong."

"There are none so blind as those who will not look at themselves in the mirror. Call her."

"But, ask her out how? What do I say?"

"If your feelings were as clear as you're pretending, you wouldn't have any reason to hesitate like that. Not even Vanitas didn't with (Y/n)."

Adrien hesitantly grabs Kagami's phone from her hand.

You and Vanitas arrives at the houseboat on her scooter. Kitty Section, along with Marinette, are gathered on stage.

"Hey, guys! I got stickers for the band!" Marinette shows custom stickers on her hand and the cheers.

"I made one version too with the record label logo on it and another without it." You  show a Kitty Section custom sticker with a crown logo with a plain Kitty Section custom sticker.

"You rock, (Y/n). Thanks!" Luka takes a look at one of the stickers. "We shouldn't use their logo for now. The record company still hasn't sent their contract."
