Mackenzie's POV

     MY eyes were heavy and felt tired as I tried to open them. I looked at my surroundings trying to see anything familiar. My head was spinning and my thoughts...I couldn't even remember anything aside eating ice cream with Ambra

Wait! I was with Ambra at the ice cream shop and...and

Why can't I remember anything?

Ambra! Where's she?

My phone vibrated in my pocket and I looked at the text

Ambra might be in the hospital battling for her life...good luck saving her

The text was followed by a picture that was a horrible photo of a beaten up Ambra. She looked lifeless as she laid on the floor. The unknown number sent a location and I looked around the unfamiliar street before stopping a car. I gave the driver my phone and he started to drive after seeing the address

I got to the hospital and the nurse pointed to where I could find her. I walked there as quickly as I could and I was faced with Elerra and Eleanor crying as Dante stood by the wall

All that looked familiar from when Stefano was also here battling for his life months ago. He couldn't make it and I would never have peace if Ambra doesn't...

She was with me and I was supposed to protect her but I didn't. I still couldn't even remember what happened, my thoughts were all messed up

"E-Elerra, where is Ambra?" I felt a sharp pain on my cheek and it took me a moment to realize Elerra had slapped me

"You really have so much nerves for showing your face here and taking my sister's name" she spat angrily. I rubbed my cheeks to ease the pain

"What ar..."

"You're an evil person and I hate you for coming into our lives. You were so eager to take my sister for her check up this morning and I didn't know you had something else planned for her. What would you gained from all this huh?" I looked at her in confusion

My eyes went to Eleanor and she had the same look as Elerra...hatred. My eyes found Dante's but they didn't tell me anything. He only stared at me and looked away

"I don't understand"

"Is this because you think my dad murdered your parents? My dad apologized to you so why did you want to kill Ambra? What satisfaction would that bring you?!"

Kill Ambra...I wouldn't

"I wouldn't think of doing that"

"Please stop pretending!" Elerra shouted "We already have the video so lying or pretending isn't going to work. You have pretended long enough and we were so stupid to trust you"

I was so confused and the fact that I wasn't remembering what had happened was killing me "What...what video?" She took her phone and showed me

"Plea...please stop hitting me Kenzie" Ambra cried but the other person who was towering over her kept hitting her before drawing a knife from her pocket

The person said something to her and Ambra shook her head vigorously. The stranger brought the knife to Ambra's body and traced it along her tummy and face. The person took the stick and kept hitting Ambra until she passed out muttering my name

"Why would you do something like that to her?" Eleanor asked with tears in her eyes

"I-I didn't do anything"
