Mackenzie's POV

"FINALLY!" Cele screamed and slumped in the chair shutting her laptop down

I sipped my coffee and closed my eyes in satisfaction. Both from the coffee and from the fact that our project work was completed now

"I can't believe we're graduating next week" Bryan whispered

"I can believe it. I even wish for it to be tomorrow" Cele groaned "And Kenzie you have to go shopping with me tomorrow for my graduation dress. I don't think you need anything because your wardrobe is probably stacked with branded and expensive clothes" she gestured to my outfit "Or you could lend me some clothes too"

Bryan sneered "Are you looking at your body? There's no way your flat ass and long legs are going to fit into her dress"

"You're just been a hater because you can't find a girl like me to be your girlfriend"

"I'd turn gay if every girl was to end up like you"

"It's too early to be quarreling" Xavier said coming from Cele's washroom

"It's not early" Bryan responded

"Yeah it's almost evening" Cele said to dismiss Xavier

Bryan and Cele are two weird friends. They always argued with each other but would also fight a third party who talked about them. That was why I leave them to their bickers most times. My phone rang and I searched for it

"It's here" Cele held it in her hands but looked at the screen before pushing it back "It's Dante! He must be missing you" she said and before I could stop her, she answered it and put it on speaker

"Hey Carina" his voice came through

"H-hey hi" I said with nervousness

"Ciro told me you're not home yet"

"Yeah I'm still with my friends. They're here and it's on speaker" I added so he was made aware. The last thing I wanted was for him to say something that was not meant to be heard by them "Would you like to talk to them?"

There was a long pause "Celeste" he greeted shortly and in a way that seemed usual to him. He didn't acknowledge Xavier for obvious reasons and Bryan because...well he was still saucy about me having male friends

"Hiii" Cele said in excitement

"I want you to come back home now. Ciro is still outside waiting for you and I'm leaving the office"

"Dante, I want to spend a little time here"

"You can't stay out late, you're a married woman now. Don't you think you have to come home to satisfy your husband?" Cele choked on her drink and Bryan stopped playing with his phone to stare at me

"Okay fine...I'm coming" I said to avoid anymore discomfort

"On my tongue? Or when my dick is deep inside of you?" My eyes grew like saucers and the room fell quiet. I stood and quickly grabbed my phone from Cele, hanging the call up with shaky and nervous hands

I looked at everyone and they stared at me in a shock. We stared at each other before I bolted out of the room after taking my backpack. I couldn't stop my racing heart when I entered the car
