Little butterfly

My precious butterfly, delicate and bright,

In your world of change, I sense your inner fight.

With parents apart, life's challenge takes its toll,

But know their love for you, a bond that can't be stole.

Oh, how I long to love you, dear, just the same,

To embrace your heart, to join your life's sweet game.

Though some may see us as sisters at first glance,

They cannot grasp the depth of our loving dance.

Let's share laughter, my sweet girl, side by side,

In our moments together, let joy be our guide.

When tears fall, I'll be there, to hold you tight,

As your spirit takes flight, I'll be your guiding light.

No mother's role I seek, to reprimand and scold,

But a refuge I offer, where love's gentle and bold.

Your father, your anchor, cherishes you so,

And as I love him deeply, my love for you will grow.

So spread your wings, my butterfly so small,

In this tapestry of love, you have a place to call.

May our bond blossom, with every beating heart,

Together we'll soar, never to be torn apart.
