My dear, in dreams I find you near,
Your soft lips pressed against mine clear.
Through your hair, my fingers glide,
In your embrace, love's whispers reside.
But alas, I wake to find no trace,
Just another dream, an empty space.
Last night, as slumber took its hold,
I pondered if your thoughts were bold.
Oh, how I long for you to know,
To share my dreams, our love to sow.
Yet you remain a distant face,
Unaware of my heart's embrace.
I wish I hadn't loved this way,
For love's path can lead astray.
Once before, I learned it true,
Choose the second if unsure who.
But if I had the chance to choose,
I'd spend my life with naught to lose.
Obstacles and laws stand in our way,
Yet I care not, I'm here to stay.
Though young in years, my love runs deep,
Sickened at the thought of others' keep.
To see them touch, to kiss, to hold,
It pains my soul, my love untold.
I hope to mend this wounded heart,
For these feelings tear me apart.
Yet, love, I cannot cease to feel,
For you're the dream, the ideal deal.
You're my inspiration, my guiding light,
The partner I've sought day and night.
We share the stars, the constellation,
Bound by fate, a cosmic creation.
Perhaps, one day, the stars will align,
And our destinies will intertwine.
I'll forget or have you here,
Embracing love without a fear.
Until that day, in dreams we'll meet,
Where kisses taste of love so sweet.
In my slumber, I'll hold you near,
For you're the one I hold most dear.
