"Oh! Halmeoni! Where are you heading? Get in."

"Aigoo! Aigoo!" I heard her reacts as I rolled down the window. "Young man, can you drop me off by the bus stop? My knees seem idle right now," she answered.

I smiles, "Of course! Get in, halmeoni!"

She's looking outside the window when I decide to open a topic. "Halmeoni, why are you still working? Aren't you supposed to just stay at home?"

"Aigoo," she reacted. "I'll die even faster if I stay at home," she jokes.

I also chuckles with her, "Wow, your children are so lucky to have you," I commented.

"Well, my kids have their family own already but I do have a really kind-hearted grandson," I glanced at her and I witnessed how she smiles as if she's reminiscing.

"I'm jealous... your grandson has a lovely grandmother," I joke and chuckles. "I do know a grandma before..." I started and she started to get invested. "She was supposed to die years ago but her grandson did all means just to save her..." I pause and stare at her as I gently steps on the break "Even sacrificing his life."

"Oh heaven..." she reacted and I'm still staring at her. "Her grandson must be hurting inside..."

"Maybe? We'll never know... Especially when someone's pain turns into anger."

KANG TAEHYUN

"Hey! Wait for me! Can't you hear me!? I literally passed out earlier! Hey! Choi Beomgyu!"

Oh yes, he can't hear me. Now, he's deaf? That bastard!

I keep on following his big and fast steps going back to the children's home. He just stormed out earlier at the clinic that made me follow him and couldn't bid a proper goodbye to Dr. Kai.

"Hey!" I shouted again and this time I run fast then grab his wrist to stop him. "At least say something!"

"Why should I even speak to a childish like you!?" he yelled back at me.

"Like why are you so mad at me!?" I give back the same energy. "Since I got here all you did is to avoid me or make me avoid you- not get in your way, and just yell at me- have an argument with me. Why!?"

"I hate you," he stated.

He... hates me?

"You heard that? I hate you. Want me to say that again? I hate you, Kang Taehyun. I hate—"

"Shut up!" I growl and started walking away first.

If he's mad at me then so I am! If he hates me then fine! We'll hate each other! Oh, should I just go back to Seoul right now? No! Why would I go back? If I go back it means I lost, right?

No, I won't go back. I won't back off either!

The whole day, I didn't go out of my room and he just did his thing to as a teacher. That made me wonder too why did he took up this career while having that kind of attitude.

"Rude," I mumbled and annoyingly rolled my eyes.

I sigh and get up from bed to open the window and the wind enters right away. I was about to get back on bed when I saw a teddy bear on the corner as if it was hidden.
