“I can still save him, right?”

“Death cannot be stop, punk,” I heard the Black Deity, Yeonjun replied. “I can see future, remember? I know how things will end so just focus on doing what is tasked to you,” he replied and put both of his hands on his pocket.

“About Beomgyu… what will happen to him?” I asked. “What did the Deity told you to do with him?”

He inhales, “You’re out of it already,” he just answered. “But let me warn you, Kang Taehyun. Don’t ever let yourself be the reason why he’ll fail to fulfill his three wishes.”

I know. I know I should be careful that’s why I decided to avoid him.

“Taehyun… Mom, loves you a lot, okay? Taehyun, please…” my mom cries again and im just looking at her. “Don’t leave me again… please?”

“Woo Hyun… is not that kind of person, Mom,” I stated with my usual cold tone.

“Okay, okay. I get it so please just don’t leave like that again, please?” she pleaded and brushes her tears. “Mom’s sorry, Taehyun…”

“You know the truth… right?”

My mom gasps and slowly let go of the grip. She’s shaking; her lips are trembling as well. “W-what are you talking about, son…”

“About me… you know it.”

I know she already know about what’s happening. My mom isn’t that dense not to sense all of the changes that’s happening. He knows me so much. He knows how I act, how I speak, and how I think because she raised me.

“Whether it was real or not… I won’t allow myself to let you go once more,” she stated in firm.

“But what if you should let me go?” I asked her.

“No! I won’t. I won’t allow you!” she shouted in anger.

I shifted my eyes away from her and saw dad looking at us. I didn’t react, I remain in my poker face and stares at him as well. “Mom, you should start accepting things already,” I whispered.

“I c-can’t… I can’t Taehyun…”

It’s been days already since the last time I saw Beomgyu hyung. He needed space. He needs to know who he really loves is and that’s not me. It shouldn’t be me.

But why am I missing him?

I decided to check him up from afar but I didn’t expect group of girls to come and see me that day. I laugh internally as how Beomgyu hyung reacted with the crowd.

"But you know this pathway is really beautiful during spring season,” he stated while staring at our surroundings.

"Spring… Do you like it?” I asked him.

"I like what?"

"Spring. What the heck! Are we even in the same page?" I sound irritated.

"Ah,” he then laughs. “I thought you're calling my name but yes, I really love spring season. It's where my name came from and my birth month,” he replied.

"I like it also… Spring,” I almost whispered.

"Me?"

"The spring season! Stop misunderstanding my words!” I shouted at him.
