Those times we once had
Those brief moments we shared
Ones that no one knew?
Maybe the ocean knew about us
About our daily encounters
Kept secret from the world.
Every night, I'd hear its waves
Calling out to me,
Murmuring to my ears,
Reminding me of the old memories.
How we once embraced one another
Near the seaside, against the cold wind.
Our feet planted on the white sands
And told each other to never let go.
