Chapter 28

At Gimpo International Airport...

Y/N's POV

"Phew, finally!" I was the last amongst the rest to check in my bag. Our suitcases aren't really that heavy but Lisa insists we do a check-in so that our lives would be easier. Well, at a cost of course.

Regardless, we gathered before heading in the immigration area. It is going to be a short flight so more time to spend hanging around, I guess. We can clearly see Jisoo and Jennie sticking to each other like glue while Lisa is ahead of us, being all excited. And then there is Chaeyoung, casually entertaining Lisa while always looking back to check on the rest of the group.

As we reach the boarding gate, we had to wait a while before being able to board. We compared our seats and it seems that God is in my favor. I am sitting next to Chaeyoung. This is going to be scary but exciting.

The PA system chimed and announced that our plane is ready for boarding. We gathered everyone before heading in. 

In the plane...

Chaeyoung's POV

Yay!

I'm sitting next to Y/N/N. I smiled to myself before heading in together with the rest. Y/N unnie let me walk in front of her. What a gentleman... I mean gentle lady hehe.

Once we got to our seats, I got myself cozy and settled down. It is going to be roughly an hour plus flight, so there isn't much time for us to be next to each other again. Or maybe not. I do have a surprise for her. Hopefully, I can catch her heart with it hehe.

I took out my phone and plug on my earpiece to listen to our new song, sang by Y/N unnie, composed by me. It is a very exceptional work. I can't wait for us to record the song and perform it for our competition. We definitely wouldn't be here if not for Y/N unnie. 

Oh! I remembered... I think I fell asleep on her shoulders just now in the train. That's embarrassing!! I'm feeling all shy now. I know she thinks that I have 'someone else' in my life. 

Oh, if only you know it's you...

==Fast forward ==

At Jeju International Airport...

Y/N's POV

Awesome, we finally touched down and have landed safely. Everyone seems to be doing fine and I treasured the time I had with Chaeyoung before we head off to clear immigration. 

I don't know why I feel a little awkward with her. I think I am very well aware that I have feelings for her, but I also know that she have someone else that she is interested in, so why is it so hard for me to forget about my feelings? I've been with her since the start of the trip, and it's only been a few hours. How will I survive the next few days?

Anyways, we finally took our bags and left the clearance area. Suddenly we see two men in black suits standing in bodyguard position. Weird. What's more weird is that Jennie is walking towards them. Does she know them?

They bowed at her and said, "Welcome back to Jeju, Ms Kim. The limo is ready for you and your friends."

I'm sorry what-

My jaw dropped as I heard that, wow, so much for having a princess treatment. Then I felt someone's arm around my shoulders, and it was Lisa. "HAHAHA, that's a funny reaction, Y/N unnie. You didn't know? Jennie is hella rich, like rich rich, those are her escorts, most likely hired by her dad though."

Yeah, I totally believe Lisa now when she said Jennie is rich. We followed the two men and it led us to a mini limo.

"WOW?!" I was shocked. This girl is really rich. I am glad we are in good terms now. Jennie just scuffs and went in the limo. We followed her and went in. 

They safely brought us to our place of accommodation, which is one of Jennie's family villa. I got out of the limo and was awed at the size of the villa.

The Villa is by the beach, a two-storey villa, with a minimalist concept. 

IT'S HUGE. Almost too huge for just the five of us. But Jennie did share with me how complete this Villa is. It has a recording studio, a dance studio, an entertainment room, literally, just name any and it is there. 

Seems pretty exciting. I saw the two men earlier getting out of the limo and helping us with our bags. Woah, makes me feel like celebrity too. Everyone else was also admiring the place while Jennie, not amused, head in first, dragging Jisoo along. 

If this is one of their Villas, what about her own house in Seoul?

Suddenly, I felt someone grabbed my arm and pulled me forward. It was Chaeyoung. I blushed and she said, "Come on, don't just stand there, let's head in, Y/N unnie."

I nodded and followed her lead. It is the afternoon here and we haven't eaten lunch. And to my surprise, there is food ready at the dining table. Hmmm, Jennie must really love us huh, hehe.

"Gosh, my dad didn't have to do all this..." Jennie murmured but accepted it anyways when she heard how happy Lisa and Jisoo are. I mean, who wouldn't be excited for free DELICIOUS looking food. 

The two men assisted us and told us to help ourselves and get comfortable at the villa. Jennie then dismissed them and they left us alone in this huge villa. It's pretty sick here. I can't wait to explore around, you know, keep myself distracted as well. 

We sat down at the dining table and started to eat our first meal here. The table started to fill with satisfaction as we took our first few bites. It tastes really good. I noticed a few pamphlets on the table, showing a few attractions on this island and restaurants that may interests us. I reached out to grab one and flip through.

Oh wow, there are so many things we can do here. Surely, we can have some time today to eat out for dinner and plenty of places to go on our fourth day. Or we can stay here today and explore the villa. 

After finishing our lunch, we cleaned up the dishes and proceeded to unpack our luggage. But first, room assignment.

Lisa gathered us and Jennie proceed to share about the room allocation for the Villa. Jisoo and Jennie will be taking the Master Bedroom, as they should. As for the rest of us, we would have a room each to ourselves and Jennie gave us a rough overview of the Villa layout so that we won't get lost.

There are two floors to this Villa. First floor consists of the Living Room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Recording Studio, Dance studio. As for the second floor, it mainly consists the Master Bedroom, the other bedrooms and the entertainment room. Oh and there is a rooftop. 

After the briefing, we headed to our assigned rooms and eventually settled down.

Whew, I think that's about it. I am done unpacking my luggage and I think I can afford a short nap. I lied down on the queen-sized bed there, and the mattress is so soft. I feel like I could fall asleep instantly. 

I closed my eyes, trying to relax. This feels so foreign to me but yet not really. The feeling of being away from my home in Seoul. Have I been overseas? What was the incident that I fought with my mom about? I have so many questions but for now, I have to focus on the group. 

Slowly, I drifted off to sleep, mumbling unknowingly, "Rosie..."
