Thirty-two hours had passed since Lilly began her labors; she was in much pain and bleeding too much to be considered right.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" Lilly screamed in pain as she lay in bed. "Why is it taking so long, Maester Mellos?" she asked, exhausted as the Maester sighed.

"The baby is not positioned in the correct way. My queen was trying her best. Get the king." As soon as she heard those words leave the man's mouth, all she felt was dread.

This was the same way Aemma died. All she could think about was that and her son, her sweet boy—the sweet boy she would leave to monsters if she died.

"We should have her walk around to help the baby move along." Maester Grey suggested but was shut down by the maester in charge, and the maester is the same one to kill Queen Aemma.

Twenty minutes later, Viserys and Otto entered the chambers looking disgusted when the smell of iron and blood met their noses before seeing the young queen sweating and bleeding.

"What is it, Mellos?" Viserys asked, annoyed. He was called and taken away from what he was doing.

"The baby is not turning your grace; all efforts have failed." The maester anwsered.

"Like Aemma," Viserys stated, making the man nod.

"Do what you must," was all he said, making the newer maester shake his head, hating that answer. Their queen was only ten and four.

"With all due respect, your Grace, we have not done everything we can for the queen. I ask to be put in charge. I am confident I can save the queen and the baby." Maester Grey said, stepping closer to them, making the older Maester glare at this 'boy'.

"What do you mean all efforts have not been attempted?" Otto asked the younger maester.

"Maester Mellos has only tried to turn the baby and has made her stay in bed, but there are many ways to help progress labor, and he continues to ignore my suggestions."

"My king, Lilly, is a good wife. Have him try and save her and the baby," Otto suggested to Viserys, quietly making the man sigh as he thought of it, but he knew Otto was correct. Lilly was a good wife, and he still needed more children.

"Maester Grey is now in charge. Maester Mellos, you may leave." Viserys said, wincing as Lilly screamed in pain.

"Thank you, Your Grace," Grey said, bowing before rushing back to the queen's side.

"Mary, Lyra, help the queen up," he ordered, making the two women rush to do as they were told.

"What are you doing?" Lilly asked as she cried due to the pain.

"We are going to have you walk around my queen; that will help lower the baby into the right position," he explained, making her nod as she stood up with help.

"Get some cold water for her to drink," he ordered a maid.

"Right away," the maid said, bowing before rushing out of the chambers.

"Get this baby out of me, please," she said, having been walking around for the last hour. She begged, the pain becoming unbearable as she bent over in pain.

"She is close; I can feel it," she said after a moment.

"Help her get into bed. I need to check on her." The maester ordered, grabbing a few towels and the things he needed.

Lilly laid back, opening her legs for the master to check, which he did: "Your crowing, my queen, at the next contraction, push ok." He guided her into a better position, making her nod.
