"I just don't understand why you would forgive them, Lillian. You are a smart woman, yet this decision is stupid." Daemon snapped, looking at the red head who drank from her cup.
"When the king dies, Rhaenyra expects to descend the throne easily; she believes everyone will bow to her and listen to her even though she has done nothing these last thirteen years to secure her position as heir." Lilly stated, ignoring his tone.
"I am aware she is a spoiled child."
"I have eleven children to think about, Daemon. I will never truly forgive Rhaenyra or Alicent, not after everything they have done, but they do not need to know that, as it is better to have them in my corner where I can know their next move, then across the sea in a castle plotting against me and my children."
"We have dragons many," Daemon reminded her.
"As does she, Daemon, and I do not intend to start a war and cause unneeded bloodshed. I will not take the lives of thousands of people who are innocent, my children included." Lilly snapped before looking out the window as she heard Vhagar's roar.
"He did it; he claimed Vhagar." Lilly whispered proudly, watching the large beast take flight.
"One hell of a kid," Daemon muttered, shaking his head, impressed by the boy once again.
"He is much like you," she muttered, sharing a smile with him.
"I am sorry for snapping on you, Lilly. I just don't wish to see you hurt anymore, not by Viserys, not by those cunts who you have given to many chances, chances I cannot understand."
"I wanted my sisters; I wanted to have a place to run to when things got bad. That is why I always forgave until the last time, when my children and I's lives were threatened when you were sent away again." Lillian admitted, looking down, messing with her rings, reminding Daemon that she was a child who was betrayed by her father and holding on to hope that her sisters wouldn't betray her.

"It's you," Rhaena said, looking confused as she stopped in front of Aemond, who was grinning, but it quickly slid off his face when he saw her sad face. He didn't like seeing her sad.
"Yes, it is me," he replied, looking over the four who were there. Rhaena, Baela, Jace, and Luke, the two boys, are glaring at him, causing him to look away.
"Vhagar was our mother's dragon," Baela spat, glaring at the boy as well, but his eyes were on Rhaena.
"She was Rhaena's to claim." Jace added through snapped annoying Aemond.
"A dragon is not an object to inherit; they are living creatures free to make their own choices. I took nothing, nor have I done anything wrong." Aemond defended himself
"She was the last of my mothers who just died, Aemond," Rhaena cried, making him look down.
"I know and I loved your mother; she was my aunt, and I would have never done this to disrespect her. I asked your father, and he allowed me to attempt my claim, Rhaena. I have no desire to hurt you, but you didn't even wish to claim Vhagar."
"Well, she cant now," Baela hissed.
"Does it look like I am talking to you, Baela? You have a dragon already. I didn't take anything from you." Aemond yelled, annoyed that what was supposed to be a happy moment has now been ruined.
'"No, only my mother dragon."
"Your mother is dead. Vhagar does not belong to her; no dragon belongs to anyone; it is a bond."
As those words left the young Targaryen prince's mouth, Baela rushed at him, throwing a hard punch to his face, knocking the boy some only for him to regain his footing and push her back, not hard enough to hurt her, just enough to get her away, but the Velaryon boys didn't see that they saw Aemond trying to hurt the girl, causing them to react and attack the boy, causing him to fall.
"Stop thats enough! Jace Luke, stop!" Rhaena screamed, trying to pull her sister away, only to be shoved back, causing her head to hit the stone wall, making her crumble to the floor. Aemond saw that, and he stopped holding himself back, hitting Jace and Luke, causing them to fall, before kicking Baela hard in the stomach and jumping up with a rock in his hand.
"Come at me again, and I will bash your brains in!" He shouted, his voice echoing off the walls, causing Jace to scoff.
"You won't touch me," Jace spat, spitting the blood that filled his mouth onto the ground.
"Your right, I will kill you. I did nothing wrong. Now leave or I will feed you to Vhagar."
"She wasn't your; you think you can get away with everything just because you're the son of the king and queen. Well, guess what? Your father doesn't love you; he loves me and my brothers more than he will ever love you." Jace screamed
"At least I am not a bastard, and my mother loves me. At least my father is still alive; your burned to death." Aemond shouted, dropping the rock and tackling the bastard to the hard ground. Luke watched scared and confused as his uncle and brother fought. Baela rushed to her sister, who was bleeding badly from her head.
"My father is alive." Jace screamed in Aemond's face as he got the upper hand in the fight, "It is your mother who birthed bastards with her guard."
"My mother did no such thing," Aemond snapped, kicking him off.
"Ser Criston and Ser Arryk are loyal to my mother, loyal to their white cloaks and oaths; it was your mother's guard who crossed those lines," Aemond added, defending the two knights who helped raise him and his siblings.
Those words sent Jacaerys into another fit of rage, attempting to tackle the Targaryen boy who kicked him in the face hard, not seeing the little body of Lucerys run his way with a knife, but Jace did throw sand up into Aemonds eyes, blinding him momentarily. The sound of Lilly's scream echoed through the halls because the sand may have blinded the boy momentarily. The slash of the dagger that Luke held blinded him forever, just as Lilly and Daemon met them.
"Aemond!" Lilly shouted, and Daemon ran to her son, who fell to the ground, screaming guards rushing into the hall.
"Let me see Aemond; let mommy see." Lilly cooed, trying to see how bad it was, but it was hard to tell with all the blood.
"Gods be good." Daemon muttered, seeing how bad it was ripping some fabric from Lilly's dress. He held it to the eye.
"Hold it there," he demanded, looking around the dim hall, his eyes zoning in on the two Velaryon boys, one holding a bloody dagger and the other covered in dirt with a broken nose. His eyes then moved onto his daughters.
"Got to Rhaena," Lilly told him gently before looking at the guards.
"Take Prince Lucerys and Jacaerys to the great hall; do not let them go; they have committed treason." Lilly shouted her order, the guards being quick to follow, grabbing the boys and dragging them away. Ser Arryk rushing to her and Aemond gently picking him up, rushing into the castle. Lilly is close behind with Daemon and the twins.
