"What is to be done now?" Coryls asked Viserys, who sighed.

"I do not know." Viserys admitted looking down and feeling dizzy. Laenor had left the room to get cleaned up per Lilly's instructions.

"I am fine, your grace truly; I have had worse." Ser Erryk tried to assure Lilly, who was cleaning the wound on his head.

"It is deep, Ser Erryk. It needed to be cleaned, especially if you got this cut from a dirty knife. So it is clean, and you are dismissed for the night. Please go see the maester to make sure it does not need stitches." Lilyl ordered, making him smile.

"Very well, your grace, thank you," he said, standing up and making his way out of the great hall.

"Perhaps we can hold off until another time to hold the weddin." Rhaenys suggested

"The wedding will take place now; both families will witness the union; the houses will leave; no tournament or celebration will happen. Joffrey's body is being taken by the Silent Sisters soon and will be prepared where his body will be brought to his family for a proper funeral." Lillan cut in

"The tourneys were to celebrate the union," Viserys argued. "The grand wedding between both houses."

"And a man has been killed your grace; many injuries have occurred after our people decided to fight each other," Lilly snapped before sighing.

"A tourney would be inappropriate at this time if you wish to celebrate the union. Throw a tournament when Rhaenyra is with the child, the heirs heir. There is a celebration, but not now. I am sure both the bride and groom would appreciate that." Daemon cut in, stepping closer to Lilly, noticing her rubbing her belly as her face pinched.

"She is right, father. Please let us just get this over with Laenor and let us all calm down after such aggressive events." Rhaenyra cut in with pleading eyes, making him nod.

"Very well, someone get the things needed prepared," Visery snapped, annoyed. He had spent two months planning this event, and now it all has gone to sh*t.

"Viserys, my husband, you should sit; the stress is not well for you," Lilly said, laying her hand on his arm and making him nod.

"Yes, I will do that," he said, making his way to the table to sit.

"Have the septa brought here at once. Alicent, help the princess Rhaenyra prepare for the ceremony." Lilly ordered

"Right away, your grace," the maids said, rushing out of the room. Rhaenyra and Alicent looked at her before nodding and leaving the room to do as told.

"I will be back soon," Lilly muttered, leaving the room herself and looking for a box she had in her room.

"Can I help you with anything, Lilly?" Lyra asked, not wishing for her queen to add more stress.

"I have a box in that chess that should be at the bottom. Can you grab it for me? My baby is making it difficult to bend over." Lillian asked, making her smile.

"of course"

Lillian watched as her friend, only a few years older than her, rummaged through the chest gently before announcing that she had found it.

"Here you go," she said, handing her the chest.

"Thank you, Lyra; you may go and take the rest of the night off."

Lillian waited until she was alone to open the box, smiling as she looked at the items that lay in it before closing the lid and leaving the room to make her way to Rhaenyra's chambers.

"Her Grace Lillan," the guard announced, making both girls turn, looking at the girl in shock.

"Your Grace," they both muttered, bowing to her and making her nod.

"I am sorry that this is your wedding, Rhaenyra. You deserve something better, but clearly that will not happen today." Lillian stared, making Rhaenyra scoff out a laugh.

"I think this is how the gods decided to punish my sins, I suppose," she commented, making Lilly smile slightly.

"It is a possibility." Lilly agreed before looking down.

"These belonged to your mother Rhaenyra; apparently they were the queens jewls your father gave them to me after we married, and I never wore them; it would not be right of me to," Lillian stated, walking up to her.

"He gave you her jewelry," Rhaenyra muttered, looking hurt.

"Yes, he did. You clearly deserve them, as they belonged to your mother," Lillian answered, handing her the box and watching as she opened it.

"He gave you her crowns and her mother's necklace," Rhaenyra whispered, feeling angry at her father.

"Well, I don't know if you have noticed, but he truly does not care about much," Lillian said, biting her lip.

"My father can be a good man at times; at least that's what I thought. I just thought he would keep these. He was saddened when she passed in the childbed. These are reminders of her."

"You deserve the truth, and I feel like you do not know the truth."

"what truth?"

"Your mother did not die from childbirth, or naturally, your father chose to save the baby and let the maester cut her open. He ordered them to cut her womb open for a son; he did that, not the gods."

"No, my father wouldn't do that." Rhaenyra denied it; she refused to believe he would do that to her mother.

"Believe what you wish, Rhaenyra, but in truth, I of all people know how cruel and deranged he can be." Lilly countered, making her look at the bruises that showed on

"I am sorry, Lilly." She whispered, stepping forward and tearing up. She was sorry for everything, and she needed her to know it. She thought Lilly was naive, but it was she who was the naive one.

"You should finish getting ready. I thought you deserved those, and perhaps you would like to wear something of hers on your wedding day. Excuse me," Lilly said quickly, leaving the room and trying to ignore the stinging in her eyes.

"The love of the seven is holy and enternal. The source of life and love, we stand here tonight in thnaks and praise to join two souls as one." The High Septon began the ceremony.

"Father......Mother.....Warrior.........Smith.......Maiden.........Crone......Stranger"

Rhaenyra started straight at Laenor, who was trying not to sob as he had just lost his love in a brutal way.

"I am yours, and you are mine. Whatever may come," Laenor whispered as he held her hands.

"I am yours, and you are mine. Whatever may come," Rhaenyra whispered back, placing a soft kiss on the corner of his lips before stepping back.

"Here in the presence of gods and men, I proclame Laenor of House Velaryon and Rhaenyra of House Targareyn to be man and wife. One flesh, one heart, one soul, now and forever."

It was official. Rhaenyra and Laenor are now married, and in the eyes of seven, they would be the future of the seven kingdoms.
