"Goodnight, Ser Criston." Rhaenyra said, wishing to retire for the night.
"Good night, princess." Criston said his attention was elsewhere when he noticed a certain red-haired beauty walking down the hall.
"Rhaenyra!" Lilly shouted, catching the princess's attention.
"Lilly, where are you heading? The hour is late," the princess asked, making Lilly's smile fall.
"The king has called for me, but I wish to know if you would like to join me for tea tomorrow." Lilly asked, making her smile.
"I would love to." Rhaenyra said it happily, making the queen smile.
"Wonderful, well, goodnight."
"Good night, Lilly," Rhaenyra said before Lilly locked eyes with the knight.
"Ser Criston, it is wonderful to have you back." Lilly said quietly, making the knight smile slightly.
"Your Grace, it is wonderful to be back," the man said, bowing his head before she sent one last smile before walking away, feeling her cheeks flush.
Rhaenyra couldn't help but smirk at her guard, which he noticed immediately, or at least he did when the red head turned around the corner and was out of his sight.
"What?" he asked.
"What was that?" she asked, raising a brow.
"What was what?" he countered, making her narrow her blue eyes at him.
"Those looks you two shared—what was that?" she clarified.
"There were no looks, princess; a simple greeting was all," he said, making her nod, not believing him as she saw it with her own eyes.
"Okay, good night," she said, entering her chambers only to see a bag placed on her bed, confusing her, so she dumped out the contents onto her bed, revealing dirty clothes, rags, and a scroll that helped create a map of the castle and her chambers with a note telling her what to do.
She looked at the wall the note said to before pushing away the bench and pushing all her weight on the wall, making it open and showing a hidden passageway, making her stumble forward into the tunnel.
"Whoa!" she said breathlessly, looking down at the staircase before rushing to put the dirty rags on them, following the passage and map that led her to the back of the castle, where she found Daemon waiting for her.
"What is this?" she asked, stepping out of the passage and letting it close before walking up to him as he leaned against the wall near the stairs.
"A hidden passage princess," he teased, holding out her hand. "Come on, I wish to show you some things," he said, making her grasp his hand and loving the feeling of him close.
"Where are we going?" she questioned as they wandered through the streets of Flea Bottom.
"It is much cleaner than I remember," she added, looking around and noticing it looked much better, making him chuckle.
"You can thank Lilly for that; she has helped fix Kings Landing for the better these last three years," Daemon answered, smiling at the utter amazement on her face. Even in dirty rags, she looked beautiful.
"Fuck off, boy." A drunk man spat as he stumbled into her, making her gasp, feeling giddy.
"He called me a boy," she laughed, making him laugh with her. The smallest thing brought her so much happiness; it was adorable.
"Do you wish to know about your death, child?" A blind 'witch' cackled at the two Targaryen's, but Daemon just pulled her away further into his side, making her look up at him.
