"I need to speak with the king; it is urgent." Otto told the two guards who stood at the king's chambers, making them nod and walk in, seeing their queen and king sitting at a table with the king's stone buildings both in their nightclothes.
Ser Erryk's eyes immediately caught the small amount of blood on her white nightgown, making him feel sick that he could do nothing to protect the girl.
"Ser Erryk, Ser Arryk, what is it?" She asked gently, seeing that her husband was too busy with his sculptures to care.
"The Lord Hand needs to speak with the king; he says it is urgent." Ser Erryk answered quietly, making her nod as Viserys now paid attention.
"Let him in," he demanded, making the two listen and leave, letting the man in.
"Your grace, your grace," Otto said, bowing to them.
"Otto" Viserys was greeted with a smile that his wife did not share.
"Father," she said tensely.
"I apologize for the early hour. Your Grace I have some discomforting news; I thought it would be best shared discreetly before the council convenes," Otto explained.
"The Sea Snake" Viserys sighed, thinking it was another problem with the man, but Otto shook his head.
"I am afraid it concerns the princess, My King," he answered, catching both royals full attention.
"Has Rhaenyra been harmed?" Lilly asked, fearing the worst.
"She is fine. Well, it is no easy thing to tell a father of their daughter's exploits. I had considered saying nothing, but she is the heir, and well."
"What has she done?" Viserys interrupted
"The princess was spying last evening with her uncle, the prince; they were engaged in behaviors unbecoming of a maiden, let alone a princess."
"What behaviors?" Lilly pressed.
"Well, must I say it?" he asked, making Lilly glare at the man.
"You enter my chambers accusing my daughter of something, so yes, speak it," Visery snapped harshly, now annoyed with the man.
"Daemon and Rhaenyra were seen together in the bowels of a pleasure den coupling," Otto finally told the two.
"That is a lie; you have been lied to." Viserys chuckled, not believing it.
"I only wish that were true, Your Grace," Otto lied, shaking his head. He was actually happy that if her reputation is ruined, there is a better chance of Aegon being named heir.
"Who is responsible for this gossip? Bring them forward at once, and I shall take their eyes." Viserys snapped now, pacing
"As your hand, I must maintain my trusted source."
"Trusted source to imply such things about the princess without any proof is treason, and how do they know it was the princess? It is common for many to rent out whores who have hair similar to that of Targaryen." Lilly snapped, defending the two, saying they wouldn't do this because her father had been truly misled or had conspired to ruin Rhaenyra's reputation.
"Leave us now," Viserys demanded, making his Lord's hand exit quickly.
"They would never do this; they may be chaotic, but Rhaenyra would not risk her reputation as heir; she wouldn't." Lilly pleaded Rhaenyra's case, making him scoff.
"You are truly naive if you think that Lilly now go," he shouted, waving her off and making her rush out of the room and to hers.
