"You asked to see my king," Lilly said, walking into Viserys chambers and approaching him before she was met with a harsh slap, making her gasp.

"That is for lying to me," he spat before backhanding her again, "and that is acting like you do not know the truth."

"My king, I knew nothing of what she did. I confronted her, and she told me she didn't do anything with Daemon." She tried

"Why would Daemon lie?" He countered, glaring at her as he stepped closer to her.

"To anger you, my love, to get a rise out of you." She answered, making him scoff.

"I spoke to Rhaenyra, and she swore to me that she remained a maiden."

"Then she has lied to you, my dear wife; her maids brought me the bloodied sheets from her bed."

"Perhaps she got her monthly bleed."

"No, I assure you, it was not from that." Visery hissed, making her look down.

"I understand how stupid I was to believe the princess, and I am very sorry for lying to you, even if I was unaware that what I was saying was a lie, my love," she whispered, grabbing his hand and kissing it. She hated every moment of it, but she had to do this to calm his anger.

"You are too naive. Not everyone is as innocent as you think. If you ever lie to me again for her, I will have you hung in front of your children," he threatened, making her nod.

"Yes, my king."

"Ser Criston, you've been summoned," a young man said, stopping the knight who walked up the stairs.

"I just left the princess just minutes ago," Ser Criston said, confused.

"Not the princess, ser, the queen."

The Dornish man froze ever slightly hearing those words, fearing the worst, before he made his way to the young queen's chambers.

"Ser Criston, your grace," Lyra announced before bowing and leaving the knight and queen alone, shutting the door behind her.

"Your grace," Criston said, bowing slightly before he looked over her.

"Ser Criston, I fear I must question you on a delicate matter." She admitted rubbing her swollen belly, which was very obvious now that she was much larger than she should be at only four months.

"I am your servant as always, my queen," he said, stepping closer to her and holding his sword so it wouldn't clank. Seeing the young princess asleep in her crib, the action made her smile slightly.

"It concerns the princess Rhaenyra," she said before sitting on a chair, wincing slightly. She was feeling terrible pain from her husband's actions, which he noticed and was concerned about.

"Your grace, are you alight?" he asked, not being able to stop himself.

"I am perfectly fine; thank you, please," she said, gesturing to the seat next to her, making him hesitate slightly before walking over slowly, mindful of his armor noise, taking off his sword and setting it against the chair before sitting down.

"You are her sworn protector and rightfully loyal to her," she started looking at him.

"I am," he agreed, quietly regretting his actions and his lapse of judgment.

"The night of Prince Daemons return, um, well, there has been a rumor, or rather, my father received an accounting of a lapse of morals that may have occurred between," she expressed, stuttering, trying to get the words out as he tensed.
