♡♡UNIVERSITY FEST DAY♡♡
APARA'S POV:-
Everything is set for today’s festival. The students have outdone themselves—every detail is perfect. This morning, the dean gathered us for a quick briefing. He mentioned that we’re about to welcome surprise chief guests, and he hinted that everyone would be thrilled once they arrive.
So, Ahana and I are heading to the canteen for breakfast. After that, we’ll get ready and be at the venue by 2 PM sharp to welcome our special guests.
AHANA: "Hey Apara, what are you going to wear today? We have a performance too, right? Have you decided?"
APARA: "Yes, I’m thinking of wearing a saree."
AHANA: "Oh, okay. Let’s go then, or we’ll be late."
APARA: "Yes, let’s go."

It was 1:10 PM. Apara and Ahana had been getting ready for the past hour in their respective rooms. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and a bit of anxiety. Both emerged from their rooms looking stunning and ready for the day’s festivities.
Apara wore a striking black saree with a glossy sheen, the fabric catching the light and adding a touch of elegance to her appearance. Her hair was styled in soft waves, and she had chosen minimalistic jewelry to complement her look. She exuded a refined grace that made her stand out.
Ahana, on the other hand, donned a black net saree, which had a more intricate and delicate design. The sheer fabric draped beautifully over her, and her makeup was flawlessly done, enhancing her already radiant features. The contrast between her outfit and Apara’s was striking, yet they complemented each other perfectly.
Suddenly, Ahana exclaimed with excitement, her voice cutting through the room’s energy.
AHANA: "Oh my god! Apara, you look absolutely stunning today! You’re going to set the stage on fire!"
APARA: "You’re looking great too. But I feel like my life is turning into ashes. I feel like I’m burning up, and if anything more goes wrong, I might just become a pile of ash."
AHANA: "Forget all that today. You’ve prepared so well; don’t let anything ruin your mood now, not yours or mine."
APARA: "Okay, okay, I won’t complain. But Ahana, I’m feeling a bit strange today. I’m nervous and scared. It’s not that this is my first time, but I’m feeling so anxious."
AHANA: "You’re just overthinking, that’s why. Have you taken your meds?"
APARA: "Yes, yes, I’ve taken them. Do you remember our college fest time?"
At the mention of their past, Ahana’s mood shifted, and she looked visibly upset.
AHANA: "I don’t want to think about the past right now."
APARA: "Ahana, why are you punishing yourself and me for what happened? Don’t you think you’re being unfair to yourself?"
AHANA: "What are you saying, Apara? You’re my sister, and you shouldn’t blame yourself. And no, I’m not doing anything wrong. When I asked for help, he said it was a personal matter and he would handle it himself. That’s when I realized he didn’t truly love me."
