Lance POV
Lance found himself in a white void, his thoughts swirling with confusion and concern.
The voice he had heard, pleading for his return, echoed in his mind as he searched for answers.
"Please, Brother, if you're not dead, come home, please,"
A familiar presence enveloped him, and he turned to see the Blue Lion, its majestic form radiating with a serene glow.
"Blue, what was that?" Lance asked, his eyes scanning the empty space around them.
"That was your sister," the Blue Lion replied, a hint of sadness in its tone.
Lance's eyes widened in disbelief. "But how? I could only hear Keith when I visited."
"The other lions," Blue explained, its gaze distant. "They sense you now that you're stronger."
Lance's tail flicked nervously as he absorbed this information. "Why do you sound worried?" he asked, noticing the concern in Blue's demeanor.
"They will refuse to merge to create Voltron," Blue confessed, its expression grave.
"Why? People could die!" Lance's voice rose with urgency, his concern for the safety of others paramount in his mind.
"They need to hold energy to aid your return," Blue explained, its words carrying a weight of responsibility.
Lance's heart sank at the realization. "So, because of me, they won't form Voltron, even if it means risking lives?"
Blue nodded solemnly. "It's a sacrifice they must make to ensure your safe return and to prepare for the challenges ahead."
Lance's anger flared, his eyes narrowing as he confronted Blue with his suspicions. "He didn't die, did he?" Lance's voice held a mix of accusation and frustration.
Blue met his gaze, sadness reflected in her eyes. "No, but you wounded and weakened him," she admitted quietly.
"He's using my Pride, isn't he?" Lance's tone was cold, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.
Blue's silence confirmed his fears, and Lance's resolve hardened into a dangerous determination.
"I will kill him," he snarled, his ears drawn back and his tail lashing with fury. "He will regret surviving me last time."
The intensity of Lance's emotions filled the void, his desire for revenge burning like a wildfire.
Blue watched him with a mixture of concern and understanding, knowing the weight of his words and the path he was now set upon.
"Lance, vengeance will only lead to more pain," Blue cautioned, her voice gentle yet firm.
But Lance's rage was unyielding. "I don't care. He's taken enough from me. He won't get away with it."
Blue could sense the turmoil within Lance, the conflict between his desire for justice and the darkness of his anger.
She reached out, a soothing presence amidst the storm of emotions.
"Remember who you are, Lance," Blue urged, her voice filled with wisdom. "Your strength lies not in revenge, but in your bonds with others and the light you bring to the world."
Lance hesitated, the turmoil in his heart slowly ebbing as he considered Blue's words.
After a moment of silence, he nodded, his resolve shifting from vengeance to determination.
"I won't let him win," Lance declared, his eyes blazing with determination. "I'll protect my Pride and those I care about, no matter the cost."
