Once the playpen was built, Severus placed it in the living room, where there was more place for the rest of the construction, and he emptied all of the toys into it, before lowering Harry and Dudley into opposite corners. Immediately, Dudley made his way to the center, where most of the toys were, and commandeered most of the space. Harry, however, backed himself completely into the corner, taking just a ball and a tiny toy owl (a ty toy) with him, as well as a life-sized toy duck. Harry sat and played quietly, mostly just hugging the duck. Dudley, on the other hand, made far too much noise, to the point where when Severus had finished building everything, he decided it was time to change activities.
He scooped up Dudley first, and he ran a bath and he placed him in it, along with some bubble bath and a few rubber ducks. He splashed about a lot, extremely noisily, and Severus sighed. At least his magic would clean it up quickly.
