When they left, Severus had no energy left to do any cooking, so therefore, the three of them sat in a McDonalds car park, Harry and Dudley both enjoying their new toys (which they didn't have to share) from their Happy Meals. Harry's was a multicoloured bear, and Dudley's was a multicoloured dog. Both of them seemed equally happy with their new toys, and when Severus saw the pure joy and excitement lighting up in their eyes, he realised something - weekly McDonalds was becoming a thing.
Severus took them both home, changed them into their pajamas (the same ones as the night before), and set them both down for bed, each cuddling their new toys, and Harry also held the duck tightly in his embrace. Severus decided that it would be Harry's toy from now on, and Dudley could have the truck, but since it was plastic, it couldn't go in his bed with him, so it laid in his personal toy box instead. Albus had gotten them a toybox each, as well as a joint one. So far, it was turning out quite well.
Severus had quite a fun day planned for the next day. He knew that both boys would enjoy it quite a bit.
